Y/N's POV

Here I am. (ONCE AGAIN...FEELING LOST..lil victorious moment there sorry)
1 hour and 30 minutes away from a date with quite possibly one of the cutest guys in my grade. I was actually surprised when Alex asked me out, since we had only known each other this year. But we quickly became friends and got really close.

I scramble to find my phone in the midst of the many possible outfits I have laid out on my bed. After moving multiple things I finally locate my phone, unlock it and head straight to the facetime app to call b/f/n. I prop my phone up on my vanity and stand in front of it.

"Come on. Come on. Pick up. Pick up." I say and sway on my feet. They finally do and I wait for the call to connect to speak.

"Hey I need your help." I say.

"What's up. Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for your date with Alex?" They say. I give them a look that says that's-exactly-why-i'm-calling-you-dummy.

"Yes. Now take a look at some possible outfits I thought would be good for a first date. He didn't exactly say where we were going so i'm mainly going with a casual look." I say and grab my phone and flip the camera and show them the outfits. We go through each one, saying the pros and cons of each, until we find the perfect one.

"Okay so this one right here is probably my favorite, simply because it's really cute and comfy, it's this floral skirt that reaches a little bit above my knee. I paired  it with a white top that has a knot, and the sleeves are a little flared. What do you think." I say and as I speak I grab each piece of clothing to show the details to b/f/n.

"I really like that one too, it's really cute but also casual at the same time. I think you should go with that one." They say.

"I think i'm going to go with this one. Now help me pick out a pair of shoes." I say and go over to my shoe rack.

"We can either go with my white slip on vans or some sandals." I say and show them my shoes.

"I think the white vans, those would look so cute with the blouse and the skirt." They say. I grab the shoes and bring them to my bed and lay them next to the skirt and blouse and look at them for a second. Once I decide that they look good, I flip the camera to face me.

"They look perfect. Thank you so much babes! I love you and I will text you all the details when I get home." I say and blow them a kiss. They say their goodbyes and I hang up the call and start getting ready. I begin doing my makeup since I had decided to shower in the morning to avoid being even more rushed to blow dry my hair.

I do my everyday makeup which consists of eyebrows, concealer, powder, blush, mascara, highlight on my cheeks and a little in my inner corner. Once I finish I look over it making sure everything looks good. I then take out my curling iron and plug it in.

While I wait for it to heat up I change into the skirt and blouse to see how they look. I look into my full length mirror, turning to the side, the back, the front and make sure it looks appropriate for a first date. Feeling satisfied with it I head to my vanity and begin curling my hair rather quickly. I finally finish with only a couple of burns and run my fingers through my h/l hair, making the curls into waves.

I check my phone for the time and see that I still have 15 minutes until Alex gets here. Sighing with relief, I begin to put lotion on my legs that I luckily shaved this morning in the shower. When I finish I put on my vans and look again into the mirror. I smile and do a little twirl, loving the outfit b/f/n helped me pick out. I go to  my vanity and add some simple jewelry to the outfit. Once i'm done with that I find my bag and put in my chapstick, hair ties, my mini wallet, and my lip gloss that I quickly apply on my lips.
