Olivia's POV
Brooklyn
I opened the file that Dr. Erskine handed to me.Name: Olivia Rose Quinn
DOB: February 28, 1918
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Siblings: Alec Quinn † and Luna Quinn
Parents: Jace Quinn and Allison Quinn †
Skills: Highly intelligent, specializes in archery but skilled with guns and knives as well, extremely observant and excellent at reading people.
Other information: Excels in science and weapons; recommended for Operation Rebirth or combat. Due to unhealthy home environment, she spent much of her childhood living on the streets."So let me get this straight... you want me to join the military?" I asked, confused.
"Based on your skills.. we want to recruit you, either as a soldier or a scientist." The doctor explained.
"No offense, doctor, but I don't like the idea of being locked inside a lab. I'd much rather be out there, fighting for my country." I tried to sound tough, but in reality I just didn't want to lose Bucky.
"Very well. You'll be joining the 107th. You'll be shipped off to England tomorrow."

Somehow, Steve and I both left that tent as soldiers. A girl and a 90 pound asthmatic, somehow managed to join the army.As soon as I got back to my apartment, I started packing. It's already midnight and I had to be at the train station by 7:30 in the morning. However, my last minute packing was interrupted by a knock at my door. I opened it to find an exhausted, and slightly drunk, Bucky. "Hey, doll," he smiled softly.
"Hey, Buck. Come on in," I opened the door more. He stepped inside and sat on my couch. I took a seat next to him. "It's late, what brings you here?"
"I just had to tell you.. well you know I'm leaving tomorrow-"
"Actually Bucky.." I cut him off.
"Liv please I need to say this. Look, ever since that day in the ally I've been in love with you. I've tried dating other girls to push that feeling away, but the truth is no girl could make me as happy as you. Olivia Rose Quinn, will you go out with me?" Bucky ranted.
"Well.. normally I would say we should wait til you get back." His face dropped a little. "However, because I'm coming with you, of course I will." I smiled brightly. Bucky's eyes lit up and his eyes flickered down to my lips before pulling me into a long overdue kiss. In that moment, everything I had struggled through in my life seemed to fade away. None of it mattered, because James Buchanan Barnes was mine.
After a few seconds, he pulled away. "Wait... did you say you're coming with me?" He asked, a look of pure confusion on his face.
"Yeah.. apparently the army has been stalking me. Based on my 'skills' they want me to ship out with the 107th tomorrow." I shrugged. "I guess they take anyone though, because Stevie got in too." I giggled.
"I'll be damned. They're going to eat him alive," Bucky laughed as well.

Bucky and I stayed up for hours just talking until I fell asleep on the couch. When I woke up, I was in my bed and he was gone. I checked my clock. It was 6:30. I had an hour. I made sure I had everything packed up before I pulled my hair into a bun then put on the uniform that Dr. Erskine gave me last night. Finally, I grabbed my bag and headed to the train station, where Bucky was already waiting. Just as I approached him, the train arrived. I took a deep breath before looking up at him. "Let's join the army," I smiled.
