Saved Once Again (Nalu)

Chapter 2

"Lucy!" Happy flies up to Lucy as she walks out of her house with Natsu following behind him holding a paper.

"Let's go!" Natsu calls.

"Where? What's going on?" Lucy questions.

"Were taking a job." Happy responds.

"Really? I though that you didn't wan-" Lucy starts.

"No we want to go, but we chose the job." Natsu interrupts Lucy.

She sighs," Ok. What is it?"

"Well, this guy he has noticed some suspicious activity in the woods behind his house, and he wants someone to check it out." Natsu explains.

"Doesn't seem that bad, let's go." Lucy smiles.

They start walking towards the train station." Come on can't we walk, it's only like two towns down." Natsu complains as they arrive at the train station.

"What are you whining about hot head?" Gray walks up to the three.

"What did you call me?" Natsu argues.

"You heard me." Gray argues back.

"Come over here and say it to my face."

"No problem." Gray and Natsu continue to argue, then Erza walks up.

"Enough!" Erza yells and the two back away from each other.

"Sorry Erza." They say at the same time.

"Where are you guys going?" Erza asks Lucy.

"On a job." She simply replies." Where are you guys coming from?"

"We just got back from a job. Don't take too long though, we're throwing a party." Erza reminds them.

"I totally forgot about that." Natsu joins the conversation." What is it even for?"

"I don't know. I guess the master was just in the mood for a party." Erza replies and Natsu nods.

"Ok, well don't worry, we'll be back in time." Lucy reassures them." Now let's get going."

They all get on the train and it's not long before they arrive their destination.

~later that day~

Lucy's POV

"That was a complete waste of time." I groan as I sit down at the bar in the guild.

"What was?" Mira sweetly asks.

"The job Natsu and I just went on, this guy said there was suspicious activity in the woods behind his house." I explain.

"Ok, well what was it?" Mira asks as she wipes the counter.

"It was just a bunch of stupid kids messing around in the woods."

"Well at least we got paid." Natsu says as he comes up and sits next to Lucy. Mira laughs.

"Hey guys, guess what I found!" Happy says excitedly as he flies into the guild and over to us.

"What did you find buddy?" Natsu asks.

Happy pulls out 5 tickets for two nights at a nice luxurious hotel that has a beach." I found these."

"Wow, who would leave those laying around?" I asks laughing a bit.

"I don't know, but their ours now!" Natsu cheers.

"This is perfect. You, me, Gray, Erza, and Wendy can go." I exclaim.

"Yeah!" Natsu agrees.

"Let's go see if everyone wants to go." I suggest.

"Nah, you can go ahead and do that, I'm too tired." Natsu replies.

"Yeah, me too." Happy yawns.

"Really you guys?" I look over at them and their already passed out on the table. I roll my eyes and laugh, then I go to see if Erza, Gray, and Wendy are up to going to the hotel.

~the next day~

"Sorry Lucy, I wish I could go, but *cough* I'm just not feeling well." Wendy apologetically says.

"It's ok, I'm sure we'll find someone else to go with us." I reply.

"I wish I could go." Wendy whines.

"Aw, I wish you could go too. I have to go, but I hope you feel better." I tell her as I leave the room.

"Thanks." She quietly says.

"Hey guys Wendy can't go she doesn't feel well, so we have an extra ticket." I tell Natsu, Erza, and Gray.

"Oh, I can go!" Juvia pops in," I can't bear the thought of being away from my darling Gray for two nights."

"Uhh.." I don't know what to say, and it's obvious Gray isn't so sure about it either.

"Hey could I go?" Levy asks as she walks over to our group. Juvia is daydreaming so she doesn't notice what's going on.

"Yeah I don't see why not." Erza says.

"Great let's go before it gets late." I say.

"Hang on I need to grab my stuff, I'll meet you guys at the train station." Erza says before she walks off.

"Ok, is everyone else ready?" Everyone nods." Ok, let's go!"
