Chapter 3

As soon as Elizabeth hit the car she spoke. " So where are we going?" Illiana ignored her. She didn't feel like dealing with Elizabeth and her taking, but it turns out that ignoring her wasn't a good thing to do because she kept on asking. " Where are we going? Where are we going? Where are we going" Elizabeth said all perkey like a cheerleader from cheer hell. Illiana was growing tired and mad so she yelled, " SHUT UP! I thought I told you not to ask questions!" " Well i can't help if i want some idea on where we're going." Elizabeth said all inocent. " Ok l will tell you where we're going just not right now, and besides I'm asking the questions, first how old are you guys?" There was hesitation in both of them, but the first to speak was Elizabeth. " I'm 14, and I liked to be called Elli, my full name is to long." There was a long while before Nikolia spoke. " I'm 20 and don't call me Nikki, call me Nik or Nikolia your choice, but no Nikki." Illana gave a little laugh " I'll call you what i wanna call you, and besides whats the matter with Nikki?" Nik didn't speak for a while, then he said " Because its a girls name and I'm a guy." Illiana couldn't contain the laughter. " Ok fine Nik it is, now as for me just call me Illiana, and i'm 19." Illiana looked in the rear veiw mirror and saw a little smirk on Nikolia's face. " Whats so funny?" Nik gave a little laugh, " I think its funny that I'm older than you, and you are the one in charge." Illiana like that he felt intimadated. " Well thats how its supposed to be, I remember when i was little that my mom was the one incharge. The women all ways are incharge, get used to it." Elli had fallen asleep, and Illiana wanted so badly to be in her place. She was so tired, she hasn't had sleep in over 48 hours, and Nik could see it. " Why don't you let me drive?" Illiana didn't want him to, and she didn't want him to now where she was going, but she so badly wanted sleep, so without any hesitation she agreed. She pulled over and got out of the drivers seat to go to the passengers seat, and nik got out of the back seat to go to the drivers seat. " So where are we going?" The question was nevered answered, because as soon as Illiana laid back she fell asleep.

The screams stopped and all she heard was silence, she was debating on weather or not to come out of the floorboard. What if those things were still in the house, waiting for her so they can come and take her away to? What if they wanted her to think that they were gone? She couldn't know, the only way to find out was to open the floorboard and see. She didn't want to, but she had to. As soon as she was about to open the floorboard she heard a noise, like a suction sound, it was them, that was the language that they used. She new not to open the floor, so without thinking she decided to wait till morning, when hopefully those things would be gone.

Illiana woke, it was dark and she couldn't see a thing. All she heard was the soft hum of the truck. The stars out the window were moving. She slowly turned and looked a Nikolia, he was driving and looked extremely tired. How long has he been driving? Illiana thought. She looked at he clock and saw that was only 3 O'clock in the morning. Illiana had been asleep for awhile 12 hours by the look of it. Illiana shifted in her seat and inclined up to so she could look out the windshield. She turned to face Nikolia and said," Why haven't you woken me?" He didn't answer, he looked so focused on the road. " Hello I'm talking to you!" With that he came back to reality. He had been daydreaming thinking on how that there was actually another surviver, and why did it have to be her. " Um, sorry I was out of it, I guess I was just lost in my thoughts." Illiana gave him a strange look. " I'll say, so why didn't you wake me?" She wanted to know the answer. " Because you look so tired and I didn't want you to be mad at me that i woke you." He had a point, she would've been mad at him id he had woken her. She looked back and saw that Elli was sound a sleep. " We should stop and get rest, lets get of this exit and find an abandoned motel or something." Illiana said with such kindness that Nikolia was shocked, but he had to agree, his sister couldn't take another car ride where she had to sleep. They pulled into a small town in West Virginia, and to their surprise there was a crap load of hotels and motels, but they both decided to stick with the smallest, it was most likely the safest.  Of course the smallest motel their was, take one guess, the motel 7. Illiana was tired of staying there but it was safe(ish). " What arewedoinhere?" Elli said slurring her words. " Were here because we have no other place and all of us need sleep big time." Illiana said with sympathy.  They all walked in and check the place, it was clear. All the rooms were spread out they weren't any close enough to each other. " We have to sleep together in one room, you see all the rooms? Well they're all spread apart, if we need to get to each other in a short amount of time it wouldn't be done." Nikolia had to agree, he wanted his sister to be safe more than anything. They found the biggest room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms, the lights worked along with the water, this is the place that they would all be staying for a very short while. " Well this is the biggest room, I'll sleep with your sister and you can have a bed to yourself." Nikolia didn't hesitate, he agreed to that completely. Elli was occupied with finding her night wear in the small bag that held hers and Nik's clothes. " Hay Nikki, where are my pajamas?" Elli yelled across the room. " They were in the ba-- " he was interrupted by his sister, " Oh I found them never mind!" Illiana didn't have any PJ's, she had a shirt and underwear. " What are you doing?" asked Nik looking at Illiana take her pants off. " What does it look like I'm doing, I'm getting ready to go to sleep." She said. " No what I mean is why are you taking off your pants?!" Nik screamed. Illiana was laughing, she thought it was funny that he was surprised that she didn't have PJ's. " Listen I don't have pajamas, I only have like 3 outfits, so you what chill." Nik didn't want to argue so he dropped it. Illiana climbed into bed and fell asleep. Elli walked out of the bathroom and climbed right next to Illiana and shut her eyes. Nik was exhausted, he had been driving for nearly 14 hours. As soon as his head hit the pillow he was out cold.
