A New Chapter: Katherine

Chapter 4

As the lift reached the 75th level the doors opened and we were right in the middle of his living room. I couldn't believe that was his house. The view was unimaginable and his house looked like it came from a magazine. It was all black and white including his kitchen that looked untouched. As I walked toward the window to admire his million dollar view, I heard men talk loudly. The 3 men emerged from the hallway all dressed in black suits. I couldn't believe how much they all looked alike.

"Katherine, these are my brothers Henry the eldest, Thomas and Louis my younger twin brothers. Guys this is a friend of mine, Katherine." Wade said as he smiled at me.

"Hi nice to meet you." I said as I pulled my hair out of my face and behind my ear.

"Ah a friend is she?" Henry said while smiling at Wade.

Wade looked at Henry in a serious facial expression " Yes. Katherine make yourself comfortable I wont be too long."

I looked at Wade and smiled. Watching them go into his office I wondered to the white couch and sat on the edge staring at the View. Wade walked out opened his white coffee table draw turning on the tv and handing me the remote.

"Dont be shy, feel free to get something to eat if you like." Wade said as he stood in front of me.

I stared at him not knowing what to reply "Ah thank you I'll be fine."

As I watched him walk inside with his white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and and his messy hair down his face, I couldnt believe how a guy like him just kissed me. I was wearing three quarter tights and a Adidas tshirt and my hair was a mess as usual, why would he even consider me. I doubt getting a girl was even a challenge for him.

An hour of constructing a hundred reasons why this was even possible, Wade and his brothers walked out and laughing loudly. My eyes meet with Wades and he winked playfully at me.

"So Katherine what do you feel like eating." Henry said as he came and sat next to me on the couch.

I smiled and before I could speak Wade interrupted "Your not eating here go home." He said as he sat between Hery and I.

"No were not, we want to get to no your new friend." Louis said as he went to grab a drink from the fridge. Though they were twins, you could still tell them apart they looked different.

"Is that ok with you Katherine?." Wade said quietly as he leaned closer to my ear.

I smiled and nodded my head.

"So what do you guys want?" Wade said looking at his brothers and I.

"Thai food from thai ten." Henry said.

They all looked at me to make sure I was ok with that. They were all very polite which I didnt expect.

"That's great, pad thai for me." I said trying to stop being awkward.

"Great, I like her already" Henry said as he high fived me behind Wades back.

When the food came we sat around the tv watching a soccer match. I was a big fan of the english premier league, so it wasnt long before we were all sitting and yelling at the tv together. By the end of the game I didnt feel as uncomfortable as I did earlier, his brothers were easy to get along with.

After the game ended I looked at the time and couldn't believe how late it was. Mary was going to kill me. I tapped Wade on the shoulder. He sat next to me all night on the floor near his coffee table. He was so sweet, every time he looked at me I felt butterflies in my stomach. I hadnt ever felt that way. As he looked at me he knew what I wanted and pulled his phone from his pants pocket and handed it to me. I smiled and got up to talk near the kitchen.

When Mary answered I could hear loud music in the background. As we talked I could tell she was a little drunk and she didnt even care that I wasnt home. I felt alot more relaxed. When I went back I sat back on the floor and handed Wade back his phone and continued listening to Louis discuss there dads hot new assistant.

At 1am his brothers had all left. He sat on his couch and went quiet for a little. I watched him from the floor. I could tell he was alittle tired and I felt bad to even ask him to take me home. As he sat quietly closing his eyes I laid back on the floor resting my head and admired the view. I couldn't get enough of that view

As I woke up I felt a blanket on my back. I immediately opened my eyes. I Couldn't believe I had feel asleep on the floor in his apartment. He must have noticed and brought me into his bedroom. I lifted my head looking around the room, it was still dark out. I decided to go out and see where he was.

As I walked outside I noticed the lights off but the tv on, it was 3:30am I couldn't believe he was still up. I wondered if it was because I took his bed.

He turned around smiling at me "im so sorry I don't no how I feel asleep like that."

I looked in surprise, why was he apologizing I feel asleep on his floor.

"Im sorry, I need to get a car, you cant keep driving me around." I said as I walked to sit on the couch next to him.

"Your cute when you sleep." He said as he moved closer toward me.

"Oh god please.... so what are you watching?" I replied ignoring the fact that I most likely looked horrible.

He smiled and handed me the remote " I have no clue you choose."

I took the remote and flipped through trying to find a good show. When I found law and order: svu I got excited and put the volume up and hugged his right arm.

The next morning I had woken up on the couch using Wades shoulder as a pillow, I smiled looking down at the floor, I couldn't remember the last time I smiled like this. As I lifted my head to stare at him, I saw he was already awake.

"Best sleep I've ever had" he said stretching his arms out

I smiled as I stood tieing my hair in a pony tail.

"Bathrooms down the hall to the left" he said as we walked up to the fridge.

I walked into the bathroom and washed my face, I stared at the mirror and I started to over think what had just occurred. Why was he so interested in me? What did he want? I stressed to believe that anything good could ever happen to me. Without thinking about what I was about to do, I opened the door and rushed to the elevator.

He called my name, most likely confused at what was wrong with me.I pressed the elevator button and the door opened immediately. I walked in and before the door closed he opened the door and walked infront of me.

"Whats wrong?" He said while holding my hand.

"I need to go, now I need to leave." I said trying to move away from him.

"Ok let me take you home" he said as he moved away.

"No I can walk" I said in a angry tone.

He leaned forward trying to kiss me, I pushed him away and he stood watching the elevator door close. As the elevator door descended I felt my stomach ache. What did I just do?

When I was on the street I began to walking in a fast pace. Tears rushed down my face. I felt so guilty but it was the best thing. He didnt no how crazy my life was and I didn't want to fall for a guy and then watch him leave when he found out how bad my life was, especially for a guy like Wade Wilson whose life was perfect.

As I walked with my head down back to my apartment, I began to cry even more.
