A New Chapter: Katherine

Chapter 6

I couldn't believe I was going on a date with Wade tonight. I was so nervous, I decided to shower early so I wouldn't be late. After I had showered I blow dried and straightened my hair. I decided to wear a tight light pink midi skirt that had a cut on the back and a white high neck crop top with nude stilettos. I hoped it was appropriate for our date, he never really gave me much detail on in it.

It was 8pm and he still hadn't came yet, Ian and his dad and stepmum were out at dinner, so I sat on the couch in the living room watching tv hoping that I hadnt gotten dressed for no reason. I finally heard a knock at the door and heard Wades vocie calling my name. I rushed to the door adjusting my skirt and fixing my hair. When I opened the door I saw Wade standing in a grey blazer and a navy blue pants holding a bouquet of roses. He looked so good I couldnt believe I was going on a date with him.

"Wow you look amazing Katherine" he said smiling and handing me the flowers.

"Thankyou, but your late" I said as I placed the flowers on the dinning table.

"I no im sorry the meeting ran longer than expected, I could have told you if you had a phone" he said as he watched me lock the door.

"Oh shush, maybe one day" I laughed as we walked down the stairs.

When we had gotten in the car, he had told me where we were going and was shocked that we were eating at a 5 star restaurant. I hoped it wasnt to far away I hadnt eaten all day.

When we walked into the restaurant, we were given a seat outside which had an amazing waterview. As we sat we discussed how nervous I was to get my results back and to start college and how I was thinking about studying Marine Biology. He was so sweet and he always kept me laughing. By the time we had finished dinner we walked out the restaurant to admire the scenery of the water and amazing lights. As we walked along we noticed an icecream shop and he insisted on getting some, even though I was full from dinner.

After he had walked around and admired the amazing scenery we decided to leave and go back to his place for abit.

On the drive back I stared out the window looking at the huge lights.

"Do you have a divers license Katherine?" He said as he stared at me smiling.

"Yes I do, I just havent drove in a really long time." I said as I looked out the window.

"Well thats good to hear, you start work monday morning at 8am ill collect you ok" he said.

"Not a problem boss" I answered as I smiled at him.

When we arrived in the carpark of his apartment, he walked around and opened the door for me and held my hand, helping me out the car. As we walked he kissed my check and hugged me pulling me closer toward him.

When we were finally in his living room I stood holding onto his kitchen counter taking my heels off and walked to the couch. Wade had walked behind me and before I even sat down he hugged me from behind and kissed my neck. We than sat on the couch together and he watched me as I looked around his house.

"Why is it all black and white" I said as I  turned to face him.

"I like black and white, is that ok with you Miss Highland" he said as he held me and put me on his lap.

As I sat on his lap I placed my hand on his shoulder and smiled at him"its boring, add color"

"Just for you" he said as he leaned toward me and kissed me

As he started to kiss me he

moved me down on the couch facing me and started kissing.

"No wait.. Wade" I said as he kissed me.
