Chapter 8

I woke up to a vibrating sound coming from the bedside table I leaned up slowly trying not to wake Wade. I saw it was his father, I turned to wake him but he was as already awake.

"Please get it for me" he asked as he touched my back.

I stecthed out and grabbed his phone and handed it to him.

"Want me to leave?" I asked quietly

"No ofcourse not" he said quickly before answering the phone.

While he spoke on the phone I looked at the view of New York that was right in front of me.

When he hung up he looked at me and kissed my cheek.

"Dads coming over soon to discuss a case and mum is coming also, you can meet them" he said as he attempted to get out of bed.

"What, no Wade no" I said quickly as I moved to stand infront of him

"What's wrong, your meeting them sooner or later" he said as he held my arm, to try and stand up

Sooner or later, I was so confused to what he thought we were, we hadn't even discussed it, we just kissed alot.

"What are we?" I asked regretting what I said

"The only girl I want to be with Katherine" he said as we walked to the bathroom

"Wade seriously"I added hoping he wasnt joking.

"I'm serious your all I want, that's if your ok with that" he said smiling at me

I turned and jumped at him kissing his lip and cheek "ahh yeah!" I added

After we had breakfast, we sat on his balcony egg swing chair and I told him how Mary and I still hadnt spoken.

At 3:30pm Wades parents had finally arrived and I started to panic, I stood with Wade at the elevator door waiting. When the doors opened I saw his parents, they seemed suprised to see Wade with a me. His dad walked and shacked Wades hand, wearing a grey suit and smiled at me though he had grey hair he seemed to young to have 3 older boys. His mother quickly ran and hugged Wade kissing him. She was wearing a black jumpsuit yellow stellito heels.

"My baby are you ok, that stupid driver almost killed my baby" his mother said as she repeatedly kissed his cheek.

"We better sue him" his father added.

"Im fine mum, Katherine is taking care of me. Not suing anyone dad." Wade said trying to get his mother to stop kissing him.

"Oh hello there im Kate and that's my husband Peter." She said and than hugging me.

"Hello nice to meet you im Katherine." I said trying to hide how scared I was.

"I didnt no my son had a girlfriend" Kate added while looking at Wade.

"You didnt ask mum" Wade said as he put his arm around my waist.

When Wade and his father walked in, I sat sat on the dinning table with Wades mother discussing her children and how successful her family had gotten. I didnt no what she wanted me to say, so I smiled the whole time and frankly I don't think she cared. She loved talking about her success it was obvious. Moments later I decided to take a break from listening to how perfect her life was so I decided to fake needing to go to the bathroom. As I walked past I heard alittle of Wade and his father's conversation. "Its a place for poor pathetic people son, no one one comes out successful in a place like that." Peter said. As I heard him say that I was in shock to believe how much money could change people. "Yeah dad of course." Wade added
