"I think you should sit down" Erick says and I sit down.
"Okay listen, I need you to promise me something. Promise me that you will not be scared of me, that you will not run away from me and that everything will stay exactly the way it is." he says " I promise! Just tell me why I am here and what is the deal with you guys" I say.

"It started 3 years ago. We were all just good friends and then we met big boss. He changed us... He changed us for worse. We were just teenagers that wanted a job. But he wasn't interested in giving us a regular job. He made us angry, mad, miserable sometimes. When we didn't listen he used to lock us down and torture us for hours. He educated us to be mad, cold, insensitive and mean." he says.
" it's still doesn't explain to me a few things. Why am I here?, what is this soulmate thing? And How is this possible that he beat you up with a freaking whip and you just... Heal"
I ask "Azul, we aren't humans..." he says "i-i don't understand," I say confused "we are werewolves. And soul mate is someone we need to fill our urges. Is that one person that we HAVE to have so we can live normally" he explains "you just said 'normal life' and 'werewolves' in the same sentence." I say.

"okay whatever. What urges. What do you want?" I added. "every two weeks we get into a thing that called heat" he says "like sex heat?" I ask "not like, exactly that... It happened to me once already since you came here but I could not tell you about that until I was sure you are staying" he says " I didn't have anywhere to go anyways." I say "y-you know what I mean Azul.." he says and then I figure what he means. "if you mean 'I didn't know if you are going to end up like Mar' then I don't wanna talk about it. Soulmate or not, I'll never forgive you for not letting me save her. I don't want to talk about it, not right now and not ever." I yell suddenly. I guess I'm just emotional because her death is hard for me. "Azul, we couldn't do anything, you don't understand-" "Erick, Don't. You're a werewolf, congratulations to you!. My sister died because you're werewolf asses, congratulations to me!! Let's have a party." I yell and storm out of the room.

I get into the bathroom and start to cry.
"Azul please..." He says behind the door. "LEAVE ERICK!" I scream with frustration. "Okay... I'll leave just please promise me you'll come to talk to me when you are out of the bathroom..." he begs "I can't promise you that..." I say "we sleep in the same bed tonight Azul. You really wanna sleep with me in the same bed when we are like that?" he says "I'm going to be your wife one day anyways, it's not really up to me. So get used to this shit" I respond and kick the door.

I sit on the closed toilet seat and cry.
I found a sharp knife behind the toilet for some reason. I made a small cut on the base on my arm. Shit.
I made another one, tears streaming down my face as the blood is streaming out of my arm. I take some toilet paper and put pressure on it. She is dead because of me. She is dead because of me.

I hear a knock on the door "Erick! GETAWAY por favor!! Leave me alone!" I yell "Azul... It's me, Joel" he says.
"you should get away too," I say.
"I just need to shave, I promise... I am not gonna bother you for long" he says "go shave in the other bathroom please." I say. "okay Mel is in there and the shaving cream is in here," he says.
I pull down my sleeve and open the door. "thank you. I promise I'll shave quickly and leave" he says.
He walks in and I lock the door again.
he starts to shave and he keeps looking at me sometimes. "what?" I ask. "are you okay?" he asks "do I look okay? Dammit. I lost so many things when you're stupid boss decided to take me. I wanna go home. My family is not even looking for me but goddamit I wanna go home!!" I yell. "you are home, Azul. Everybody here lost something when they got here. Including me, Mel, Layla... Erick." he says. "so why are you doing this?" I ask "because when we got biten by big boss, we are his betas. We have to do what he does. And if he dies, we are dead too." he says. "dang, so I can't stab him with a silver knife?" I say and he laughs "no. It won't bother him. It's just a myth" he says.

"listen, Erick didn't mean to hurt you. None of us did. I'm sorry it happens to you, but this is the situation now and we git nothing to do with it. Erick will experience another heat soon. You should be in okay terms with him before it happens. He is still really young. I'm not sure he will control it again." he adds "I am not going to have sex with him" I say "you will..." he says "and why is that?" I ask "because you fell in love with him." he says. "I am not in love with him. I-I don't know what are you talking about." I stutter.
"you are, and you do. And that is why it hurts you so badly that he didn't tell you. That is why you care so much." he says and puts his hand on my shoulder. "that is why when big boss took him you asked about him. That is why you don't complain about you sleeping with him in his bed tonight. That is why you are okay with the fact that this is your destiny. But what I know? I don't even have a mate yet... Don't I..?" he says and gets out of the bathroom.
