I wish, I wish Upon a star [A homestuck Au/Fanfic]

Entering new worlds can be a pain.

Two boys  sit  in their attic, one  is seventeen  while the other is twelve. Currently  the twelve  year old is helping  the older clear his cuts and burns, a damp washcloth trails on the others body, soothing  the burns only slightly, he looks up at the seventeen   year old, he is in a daze, looking away. "Dirk....we can't   keep living  like this, you can't  keep protect me." Says the younger, "Dave. It's  my job to protect  you." Dirk says, The newly mentioned  'Dave' looked down  sadly, his  shades falling off his face "I know I just-." He was cut off by a loud banging, their  'Mother' was trying to get to them again  "DAVID GET YER SORRY ASS OUT HERE!" She yelled, Dirk saw how terrified  Dave looked, he didn't  do anything  wrong actually, he was told to clean so he did, it's   not his fault he accidently  threw out her liquor. Dave shrinked back and Dirk quickly  moved  grabbing dave and hiding  behind boxes, their 'Mother' broke in looking around and grabbing the trebling  Dave by his hair dragging him down stairs, ignoring  the protest of both Dirk and Dave. She threw the small twelve year  old on the ground kicking his stomach  slightly, she begans yelling at him "God, you disrespectful little shit! You think you can just run away from me? I'm  your fucking mother! You   will  listen  to me and you will obey  me." She said tugging Dave up by the hair  and slapping him very hard, he starts  sobbing and whining. She took her cigarette  out and burned it into him, dropping  him and walking away. Dave sobs  on the floor   holding his arm and shaking.Dirk walks in running to him, he grabs the first-aid and patches  him up. He held the crying child  to his chest rubbing  his back  and whispering  sweet things to him, he moved up picking Dave up bridal  style and   heading   to their bedroom laying him  down on the bed, he lays next to him running his fingers  through his hair.Dave calmed down   and Dirk  fell  asleep, He quietly  got  out of bed moving to the window and   looking  out,Dirk  always told  him that if you look at a star and wish   hard enough it would come true.He opened the window looking at the brightest   one, he closed his  eyes, crossing his fingers and whispering  "I wish, I wish upon a star, to take me somewhere oh, so far." The boy opens  sighing, he knew that  wouldn't  work. Before he could climb back in his bed a white light shone across   the room, he quickly   turned to see a figure dressed in a pure white suit, he  had wild hair and bright red eyes, he was a medium skin tone and not that much shorter   then Dirk, he looked up before the new figure   started   to talk  "Hello Child. I Am Kankri, a guardian  of the stars, you may be thinking  I protect space from danger. Well that's  wrong. I keep  tract  of all wishes  and decide to answer them or not. Call this your  lucky day, I am here to take you and your brother to a far away land one not even on earth." The person   known as kankri finished, Dave looked up with slight hope "Really?!" He asked  excitedly  "Correct, but remember  child not everything is what you wish  for, when you awaken you will be near a small forest  ask the lady in green where to go. And with that the Guardian  sent Dave asleep and left.

The next day [Takes place in Dave's POV]

When you wake up you think last night was a dream, until  you realize  that you  are indeed in front   of a forest, you wake Dirk up when he awakes  he freaks out  so you explain  everything, he takes it  surprisingly  well and takes you to set off and find the Lady in  Green. While walking  you and Dirk stumble  upon a Boothe that  read 'Info' Dirk walks up to it slightly   knocking  on the wood, a lady dressed in a green dress that looked like it belonged  in Victorian England came out, she had tattoo's  covering   half of her body along with a lip,tongue,and eyebrow   piercing. She had Jade green wings with black  designs, the wings slightly   resembled  a butterfly, one of the wings looked as if it was ripped and then re-stitched up. "Hello." She said kindly "I am Porrim." "Sup...Porrim." Dirk said unable  to take his eyes off of her wings "Staring  is  rude you know." She crosses  her arms, Dirk  looks up and apologizes  "Anways how  can I help you?" She asked  "Um Kankri  told me to ask you about this  world." She lookd intrested  "You mean you wanted  to come here? You made a terrible  mistake this world  is nothing  but trouble,danger is at every step." She told you kneeling  down "You need to leave, but you can without  finding  Mother and father. They created ths world   and control everything." She took out a map giving   it to you and dirk, the map had pinpoints where everything  was, each dot had a color "But you don't  simply see them, you  need to get through  the forest  completing all test." She looked around  before  grabbing  two  swords "Just incase." She handed one  to each  of you "As you can see, there's  colored dots on the map, each one a different   color these are the one's  you need to get pass. The first  one is called the Hound of Hell, a fierce  beast who can tip you to shreds, then you will  pass  the Mertrolls, they will try to trick you to drown." you nodded remembering  all of this "You will find out the rest as you go, Please be careful. If I  were you I would Leave now." She then left, waving goodbye. You looked at Dirk  who was looking  at the map, he grabbed you hand and began walking, the forest   had all kind of this to colorfull fruit and flowers, there was creatures  you have   never seen or have seen but only in books and fairytales. Your thought wad ruined  when you heard a growel, Dirk quickly  moves you behinde  him looking at the shadowed area, he stared intensly as a figure   came out, the creature   wasn't  actually   a dog or hound it was a male with sharp teeth and pointed  ears, he was only in ripped shorts that went to his knees, he had a white  tatto on his chest that read "Hound of Hell."  He had green eyes  that ripped into your soul like it   was going  to devour you, Dirk made you take a step  back whispering  "The best way to take care of  a dog   is to show dominance." When the beast ran at Dirk, he quickly  swiped at it's leg, the beast  fell and Dirk  leaned down  slapping him and telling  him "No." You didn't  think that would work until Dirk came back up and the Beast, human? Whimpered  and nuzzeled his face at Dirk's leg, Dirk leaned down patting  his messy hair  "What's  your name?" Dirk asked, you thought  the beast didn't  unstand him  until he spoke up "Jake." He whimpered still nuzzling  Dirk "Hello, Jake. I am Dirk. Welcome to the team." He smirked.

You stand  in disbelief  that your brother  just made  himself  Alpha of this poor creatures  life,This isn't  going  to be a fun ride.

Hello! Zea here I  hope you like my Au so far incase  you didn't  notice jake  isn't  really  dog the only  thing he has is  quickly  reflexes  and sharp  teeth. Dirk somehow made himself  Alpha  haha.fun. anyways  please leave a comment  and i will soon make a story where you can ask questions  about the story. Like how it might progress who is going to be what? Ect. Ect.
