"I beg your pardon?"

What did he just say?

"....." He did not respond to my question.

"Hey I'm talking to you!"

"....." He turned, and started walking away.

"The hell? I'm talking to you asshole! Get the fuck back here!"I ran after him, and soon we were playing a game of cat and mouse through the halls. Eventually I managed to corner him, and with no were to go I would finally get my answer. I lifted him by his collar and forcefully pushed him against the wall.

"Listen here buddy. I don't what in the hell your problem is, but you don't just say something like that and run off. Now your gonna tell me what you want, why you even bothered sending me a fucking letter, and your gonna apologize for what you said. Understand?" He nodded frantically "Good. Oh and after all that, if I don't like your answer, your gonna put you tail between your legs, and get the fuck out of my face! Got it?" He nodded frantically again. "Alright, now start talking." I could see the fear in his eyes as he opened his mouth to speak.

"M-m-m-my name is (c/n) (l/n), and I'm your cousin! I-I sent the letter because I wanted to meet you, and I-I-I-I'm really sorry about before. I'm not good in social settings, I don't speak a lot so I'm not sure how to handle conversations." He looked down bashfully.

"Well you seam to be doing fine now, don't ya?"

" I-I-I-I'm really sorry (y/n)! Please could we start over?" I sighed. He seamed to be sincere, and genuine. Not only that but I don't think I've heard him speak the whole time he's been here. So his claim about not being used to conversations stands. I put him down gently and stepped back. Then with a big simile I said,

"Hi! Names (y/n), nice to finally meet you!" He smiled like a dork and shock my hand vigorously with both of his.

"Nice to meet you too! My name is (c/n). I've heard a lot about you from your brother, but I guess you've grown since then, huh?"

"Ya I guess so haha." He let go of my hand rubbed the back of his neck bashfully, seams like he's still walking on egg shells.

We spoke about random things, like our interests, favorite foods, litterateur, he even asked me to spar with him in the future. He said that he didn't talk much, but he was being extra talkative right now. Maybe he drank coffee or something of the sorts. Regardless after a while the awkwardness had passed, and things were going smoothly. We bumped into Zelda while we were walking around and she joined in on our conversation too. Sometimes when she smiled or laughed (c/n) would blush. I just elbowed him and gave him a suggestive look (looks like Corrine is rubbing off on me). He would just roll his eyes and blush harder. I could tell that soon the bond between (c/n) and I would run deep, so I smiled at the thought.

"OH SHIT" I yelled out of no where.

"Huh? (y/n) is something the matter?" Zelda asked with worry.

"Uh ya I was supposed to go get ready for the ball before I bumped into you guys. I'm so sorry but I've gotta run! See ya there!" And with that I bolted off, and ran into the dressing room to prepare for the ball, and a lecture.

The liveliness of the party had taken me back a bit. There was so much going on at once and my senses were going into overdrive. I spotted my comrades scattered across the room, but they all seamed to be busy and I didn't want to interrupt them. I looked around a little more and noticed that Marth wasn't here. Strange, but I haven't been to many parties before so maybe its a common practice? Regardless I sauntered on over to the food table and grabbed a plate, ready to stack It high with delicacy's.
