Today I found out that I finally got a place in a mission, not looking at the fact that I am one of the best trained assassins my age, it was still difficult to get in.
But this mission does sound more difficult than any other missions I've heard of before, they want to kill the king of Katolis and his son, prince Ezran. I am ready for anything, I will not hesitate to kill them, I swear to my life.
I live with my father, he demands respect and 100% seriousness when it comes to training. He is as strict as they come, and I swore to my life that someday, I am going to make him proud by succeeding as an assassin.
Today I am going to have that chance, and I am not going to let him down.

I went outside of my house, on my way to the training field to warm up before we go. Next to the house I saw my dad sitting and sharpening his blades.
"Off to training, (Y/N)?" Dad said, not looking up from his blades.
"Yes, gotta warm up before the big mission!" I said and he just looked up, nodded his head, and went right back to his blades.
I turned to leave and headed to the training grounds.
No one was here when I arrived, I guess all of the other elves are ready, we are leaving quite soon, so I am not surprised.
I took my blades off my belt and extended them fully. There were training dummies in front of me, I let out a sigh, and tried to concentrate on them. Then I ran to one of them, swinging one if my blades at it. The dummie swung back and forth, I dodged it, then I saw a tree near by, I decided to use it as an opportunity to attack from a higher point. I jumped to the tree, then instantly jumped back attacking one of the other dummies, as I landed both of my swords on it, it leaned back so far that it broke. Then without thinking I turned to the last dummie and slashed his head right off in a spinning move.
I was a little out of breath, I stood there for a moment, I heard someone clapping behind me, I turned around in a defensive posture, my swords ready to attack.
"Wow there fella, that was amazing, but please don't demonstrate it on me." Said an elf with white, shoulder length hair and two purple markings on her face, under her eyes.
Seeing that it's just an elf, I relaxed and started walking past her.
"Sorry, I am done, the training field is yours." I said, almost already passing her.
"Wait!" She said and I turned around, giving her my full attention. "You're going on a mission today as well, aren't you?" She asked and I was a little surprised at what she said.
"Yes, I am, and I'm guessing that you are too, huh?" I asked and she eagerly nodded her head. "Well, see you there." I said and turned and kept walking.
I was kinda hungry, so I went back to my house and grabbed some moonberries, and took some moonberrie juice with me in a little glass bottle.
All of the elves decided to meet at the boarder at the village, I was not the last one there, they were still waiting for one more elf, the elf from before is already here too.
The leading elf is Runnan, he was talking to the girl elf, but when he saw me he excused himself and turned to me.
"Glad you could finally join us, (Y/N)" he said and started to look around "we are just waiting for one more elf, and it looks like they are coming, get ready, it's not going to be easy, I can tell you that" he patted my shoulder and went to greet the elf that just came.
"Ready?" I heard someone ask, I turned around and it was the elf girl from before.
"Ready as I'll ever be" I said, giving the elf a small smile.
"Oh, the names Rayla, by the way" she said and extended her hand to me.
"(Y/N)" I shook her hand.
Runnan returned from his talk with one of the elves, and got everybodys attention.
"Hey, listen up! This journey to Katolis is not going to be easy, so get ready for anything and everything! Let's get a move on!" He said and turned to the right direction and started walking, everyone else fallowing.
