I an the first to arrive at the castle, the others will be here at any minute, but I don't really have to worry about that, all I have to do is find and kill the prince.
I found myself in a corridor in the castle. I heard some footsteps in front of me, so I quickly hid behind a corner, really hoping that he'll not see me. Man, I hate corridors...
I peeked at the person who was walking in the direction opposite of me. He looked like a simple boy with a red scarf, maybe he's the prince? I can't take any chances tho, I really need to be careful, they already know that we're here.
Suddenly I hear some other footsteps, this time they are a little closer, but still in front of me.
"You know you can't sneak up on me." I guess the boy heard the footsteps as well.
I look at the figure standing in front of me, which is facing the other way where the boy is.
'it's a fucking elf' I thought to myself.
What the hell is another elf doing here?
The human then turns around "Ezran, is that yo-" he cuts himself off as he seems to notice the elf standing in front of him.
The elfs hood comes off of his head and I can see....no fucking way.
"Rayla...?" I whisper to myself.
"You-you are an e-elf!" The boy said Frozen in place, whilst looking at the elf.
"So what?" Rayla said, getting her blades ready for slicing.
"O-oh, nothing" the boy said whilst fidgeting and looking quite nervous.
"Shut up! I'm actually looking for someone." Rayla said, tightening her grip on her blades.
"Uuuh, have you checked there?" He said, pointing at a random direction, and after Rayla actually fell for his trap, he pulled a curtain over her head, and started running.
Rayla quickly cut the curtain in peaces, just enough so she can get out of it and started to run after the boy.
"Ugh, I don't have time for this" I said to myself and came out of my hiding spot, I started running after them both.
"Help! She's right behind me!" I hear quite distant yelling, I'm guessing from the guy, and right after that some armor clashing.
I quickly jump over all the obstacles untill I can't hear anymore footsteps in front of me, so I start to slow down.
"You don't have to die!" I hear Rayla say.
She has him cornered, she should just strike.
I couldn't handle this, so I came around the corner and came face to face with the guy.
He was on the ground, Rayla had her blades pointed to his neck.
"The fuck are you doing here Rayla?" I said walking up to her, until I was next to her.
She looked at me, I could see surprise on her face.
"I-i can explain, (Y/N)!" She straightened her posture and looked at me. The guy who was on the floor quickly moved away and was about to stand up.
"Get back down, human!" I yelled, with pure anger in my voice, whilst pointing my blade at him. He obeyed, and froze, still on the ground.
"W-what are you here for?" The human asked. He is quite brave I'll give him that.
"We only have two main targets today" I said with a serious look on my face.
"And who are they" the guy got up on his elbows.
