Chapter 27

Once we were out of hearing range of the others we slowed down. I was a little hesitant to tell Jeremy because I didn't want him to feel scared, but he looked at me like he knew something was on my mind so I had no choice. "Jere, I gotta tell you something and to be honest, I didn't think it was a big deal but what Bennie said has me concerned..."

"Well, w-what's on your m-mind?"

"There was this time at work when I was there on my own... The animatronics all gathered at the door and were trying to tell me something. Something about ghosts and how it isn't safe to be around any of you guys. They told me I shouldn't trust what you say, especially not Vincent. I was so freaked out that I saw things, almost like spirits but they looked like... well them!" I turned and faced the group behind us. Jere looked terrified so now I felt bad. I slowly walked back over to them and started apologizing for running off. Freddy and Teddy rolled their eyes, Felix just shrugged, Chloe was all forgiving, but Bennie wanted me to the side so since it was his speaking that made run away, I walked behind with him. "So, I'm just gonna assume you have us figured out huh?"

"I've had some thoughts....."

"Sorry if we scared you that day, we just new you weren't like the others. When we see them, we only see monsters. They were all there that day and didn't stop him... We don't want you to suffer the same way we have for this long."

"Bennie I still don't understand... Nobody will tell me but the newspapers around the restaurant, what the other talk about just makes me wonder, what happened?"

"We were murdered... The day the place opened, we were offered cake in the back room by what we assumed to be one of the animatronics but we found out as soon as he locked that damn door that we were wrong. We tried to hide but there were very few places. He got Teddy first, then Felix, Chloe, and Freddy. At first I was relieved he hadn't found me first but after watching all my friends get killed, I gave up. I didn't care if he found me or not and I felt almost nothing when he killed me. I just..... shut down." I stood there astonished. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, all this time singing those songs they were being tortured! But how are they here? I didn't want to ask....

"Ever since then, we can't remember our lives before... We know the names we go by aren't our real ones but we can't remember what the were." Freddy had finally realized we had fallen behind and when he noticed he glared at Bennie. "You told HER?!"

"Freddy! She needed to know!"

"NO, SHE DIDN'T! I didn't tell her that day so she would still have trust in her friends! He may have forced us to suffer, but they care about her! I can just see it. She's like we were before that asshole ended our lives! Do you want that for her?! Do you want her living in fear of the people she loves? Living knowing it'll never change!? That it'll never get BETTER?!"

"Well, no...."

"That's what I thought." I gave Bonnie a hug. He didn't say anything but hugged back. We reached campus and we all headed to our classes, but I couldn't focus. I was trying to piece together what Bennie had told me but it still wouldn't click. Once the day was over I met up with Jere and we drove to the guys' house. We wanted to spend the night at home just to get away from what happened. On the way there Jere looked over at me, his face showing nothing but fear. "W-what if they t-try to hurt me?"

"Jere, they won't hurt you. I'll make sure of that."

"They s-seemed pretty upset, b-but I don't know why t-ttheir working so hard to get m-me from y-you. I wasn't even w-working at Freddy's when i-it happened... I d-don't know w-what I did..." I didn't know what to say to make him feel better so I just put one of my hands over his. Once we got there, Scott opened the door surprised to see us, but happy at the same time, "(y/n)? Jeremy? What are you guys doing here?" Jeremy was to shaken up to answer so I did, "We wanted to know if we could stay at the house with you guys rather then at campus... We don't feel very safe there right now."

"Of course you guys can. You live here too after all." He grabbed the small overnight bag from my hand and we all went inside. Mike and Fritz sprang up from the couch and noticed both of us trembling a bit. Jeremy started to cry so Mike gave him a hug. Fritz took me to the kitchen and put a plate of warm cookies in front of me. "Thanks Fritz, your baking is always good." He gave me a small smile and everyone else gathered in the kitchen.

Scott: "Ok you two, tell us what happened."

You: "Well... there are these people at campus, I think i told Scott about a few of them. Their names are Chloe, Marie, Frederick, Teddy, Felix, and Bennie. They all had me and Jere a little hesitant to be around because of their resemblance to the animatronics...."

Mike: "Do you have a picture?"

You: "Uh.. yea." I showed them the picture of the group

Mike: "Holy Fuck."

Fritz: "That's quite unsettling..."

Scott: "Interesting."

Jeremy: C-Chloe, the girl that r-resembles chica, s-she seems ok a-around me and (y-y/n). The others d-despise me and are t-trying to get (y/n) a-away from m-me... They think i'm g-gonna h-h-hurt her."

Mike: "If they think you're gonna hurt anyone, their idiots. Just like all the robots at Fazfucks."

You: "Bennie told me about the incident... About the murders...." Scott choked on the water he was drinking, "(Y/n) upstairs. My room. Now," He ordered. I followed him as I was told. He locked the door behind him once we were both in his bedroom. "I need you to tell me exactly what he told you, I can tell you if its the truth or not."

"W-well he said they all were killed... the day Freddy's opened... They were pulled into the back room by someone they thought was an animatronic so they trusted him. The didn't know something was wrong until it was too late. He said they seek vengeance on all of you because nobody did anything to stop him. But Scott, I need to know if i'm right about something..."

"I'll tell you anything you need to know."

"It was Vincent wasn't it..?"

Guys i'm only cutting it there because the next part might have some fluff, sooooo stay tuned lol. I'll get the next part up tomorrow, although it may be a shorted chapter. Don't give up on me yet 😂
