Sorry for that frankly disturbing PS1 Voldemort above, but anyway, welcome to the chapter. Might be a bit shorter, but it's basically gonna be a helluva lot of dialogue so, uh, get ready 4 that.

Master's POV

The next day, we were both sat in armchairs, watching TV.
"Hey, did you hear they made a TV show about you? It's called Doctor Who, we should watch it."
"Really? Alright. Which channel is it on?"

"BBC One I think. Or if you go on this app, Britbox I think it's called, you can watch all the so called classic doctors, which are 1-8. The War doctor obviously didn't make an appearance. If you watch from 1963 to 2005 you should avoid spoilers. They got it pretty on-point I think."

"Hmm. Cool." He grabbed the remote from the circular table between our chairs and changed the channel to BBC. Using the sonic, he forced it to show the first episode: "An Unearthly Child"

"Facinating stuff. It's really quite accurate."

We finished the episode quite quickly.
"Yeah, I miss those three, Susan especially."
"She is your granddaughter, I'd be surprised if you didn't."
"We should go see her sometime. Made to look like the -ahem- William Hartnell doctor. Wow. That's odd to say, being, yknow, the doctor."

"Can't wait 'til I show up! How long will it be?"
"If its accurate, a long time yet, buddy. Let's keep watching, anyway."

So we did, and soon enough (a.k.a we're glad it's the weekend because otherwise we would've missed our class) we finished the first 2 seasons.

"That. Is. AWESOME. I have to show this to Donna!"
"You realise she's probably already seen it, right? Everyone knows what it is, and actually there are people who'd squeal, bounce up and down, then faint if they saw you in real life. Or even just your actors in the show, really."

"What? Seriously?"
"Yeah! Walk the streets of London for a few minutes and soon enough you'll have 30 autographs to sign and a flock of paparazzi holding cameras to your face."

"Really? That's.. bizarre! So people believe I'm fictional? That I'm just a TV character?"
"Yeah. And me, too."

The Doctor kept muttering about how strange it was that he hadn't run into anyone who knew him from a tv show -- or, at least, more than that one time.

By noon we had finished season 4

"Wait, we've been sat here for over 24 hours, they've got to be worrying about that."
"Nah, they would knock at least once ig they we're so-- woah, someone's at the door! Be there in a sec!" He called over his shoulder, dusting himself off and leaping to his feet.

"Oh, hello Severus. Everything okay?"

"Where have you two been!? No one's seen you since the evening before last." He was snarling. Seriously, that guy needs to learn to hide his anger better.

"Watching a TV show about the Doctor, why?"
His eyes widened minutely and his eyebrow raised up about the other.

"For 36 hours? Really?" Snape asked in the most sarcastic voice you could possibly imagine, "and a TV show about you? I doubt such a thing exists."

"Yes, actually," I butted in from my chair again, "and it does. I'm surprised you haven't seen it, it's called Doctor Who, on BBC One."
"Well if you don't believe us, we'll show you! It's the longest running Sci-Fi show in history, I think. Everyone knows it."

We flashed the title card on the screen.
"I could show him an episode of this regeneration, Doc? It's a lot longer, but he'd get the point soon enough." He shrugged.
