Power Strikes

*At Fest Company Main Building*

Emanuel was sitting at his desk staring at a monitor of Kai screaming in pain. Finally his goal was complete, pure power was finally his. Soon he saw alarms blaring, but he did not worry.

He saw the other ninja outside facing his new and improved fire droids. These droids were smaller than the old ones yet faster and stronger. It wasn't long until the ninja were apprehended. Yet, to Emanuel's disliking, the Nindroid managed to temporarily shut down their power, including Kai's machine.

Emanuel had to establish where to put the Ninja now that they were in his grasp and he knew exactly what to do.

The Ninja regained consciousness as they realized they were restrained, handcuffed to a pole. They tried using their powers but whenever they did the handcuffs began to burn. They glanced up and they noticed Kai.  He was chained by his ankles and hands, blood seeping from his ripped uniform, and unconscious.

"Kai!" Cole yelled in concern.

"He cannot hear you, you know. He is.... napping." Emanuel said entering the little viewing area with the controls to Kai's machine.

"Your friend is actually quite useful believe it or not. I mean, once he was separated from you he was quite way to apprehend. Oh and his power is a great energy source for my weapons. I've found him as a great... battery."

"My brother is not your battery!" Nya shouted.

Fest responded,

"Nya is it? My my, you are a spitting image of your mother. I never liked her much."

A man walked into the room and whispered something into Fest's ear. Emanuel began to speak,

"Ah I see our machine shall be up and running soon. You can see your fiery friend in action. It has taken you surprisingly long to find us. A week has it been?"

"Fest if you hurt Kai I swear I'll-" Jay was interrupted.

"You'll what ninja? Send me to prison? It seems like I have one of your chess pieces in my possession yet you're threatening me! Hilarious!"

The lights began to turn back on and Emanuel's face lit with joy. He told the ninja it was showtime and he began to press buttons activating the machine. Kai slowly started letting fire seep through his skin and he began to scream as the blue fire was being pulled out of him.

"Stop it!" Zane shouted.

"Leave him alone!" Jay yelled

"Turn the machine off!" Cole exclaimed.

They truly hated seeing their brother in pain. Nya shut her eyes as she couldn't see her brother this way.

Lloyd realized that his handcuffs may have been lower proof but the locks were just average locks. He began to pick a loose nail out of the floor in hopes to use it to pick his lock.

They watched Kai scream in agony as his fire transformed from red to blue. His hands were clenched and his body was shaking. It was too much for one person to bare.

Lloyd finally got himself free and attacking Emanuel as he was admiring Kai's pain. Fest barely managed to dodge Lloyd's attack and he hit the control panel for the fire absorbing machine. Soon red lights on the machine began to blink. Emanuel was furious. He yelled at Lloyd,

"Look what you've done! You've killed us all!"

Fest ran out of the room leaving Lloyd to free his friends, including Kai. Sparks began to fly out of the machine and the amount of  fire being absorbed from Kai grew to larger amounts. Kai screamed in pain to the point his voice gave out. And soon the machine, and Kai, couldn't handle it.

*With Wu in the Monastery*

Wu was worrying about his ninja. He sensed something bad has happened by he no longer knew where they were. He was out of oversee tea and his pupils obviously did not want to be found. Soon P.I.X.A.L entered the room with a distressed look on her face. She spoke,

"Fest Inc. has gone up in flames!"

"They work in fire weapons P.I.X.A.L it is their specialty." Wu responded.

"No Sensei, the fire.... was a combination of red and bright fluorescent blue!" She said.

Wu was shocked. He knew what this meant. He asked P.I.X.A.L,

"How large was the fires origin before it spread?"

"It immediately blew up throughout the entire building."

Eh resulted that this was not Kai's maximum ability, but it was enough to put stress on an already wounded body, especially since he's been missing for days. Who knows what he's gone through?

"Send a buggy to the buildings remains. See if our ninja are there, and if they are... bring them home." Wu instructed.

"Hai Sensei." P.I.X.A.L said as she headed towards the tech lab.

Wu prayed his students were ok. He had no way of telling and for all he knew Kai could have burnt them alive, or Kai could have damaged his body to the point of no repair. He just hoped his pupils were safe. All of them.
