~You're Not Alone~ (Josuke Higashikata -Jojolion-)

     You've grown up in Morioh all of your life. Born in raised in the town and life couldn't seem to be better. You had a few friends but no other friendship could compare to the one you had with Yasuho Hirose.

     She was your best friend since diapers. You never thought there would be another person in your duo. And you had kept close even when you both entered university. There could never be someone who's company that you enjoyed more than hers. When the wall eyes appeared, that's when life started to change juristically.

     Ring ring
     "(Y/N)!"
     "Oh, Yasuho. What's up?"
     "I need you to come to the hospital."
     "Hospital? Wait. What happened? Are you okay?! I'm coming! Don't worry!"
     "No, no, no, no! I should've rephrased that a bit better. I want you to meet someone."
     "Who?"
     "Well, I don't know."
     "You want me to go meet someone that not even you know?"
      "Well, I met him earlier today. Just meet me outside of the North entrance of the hospital!"
      "Okay, I guess. I'm trusting you on this one."
     "Bye!"

     Rushing, you threw on something suitable for outside wear and started to the hospital. Who was this person? Why did Yasuho want me to meet them? You weren't sure, but you were about to find out real quick. Approaching the North entrance as instructed, you scanned the area for Yasuho. In the crowd, you saw the pink haired girl with her iconic flower skirt. In her hand, she held a box of pastries from the local bakery.

     "There you are, (Y/N)! Let's go." She started her way in and headed to the elevator. You only nodded your head and reluctantly followed. "Sorry about how sudden this all was. But I thought he could use some more company. I have to see Joshu so I was hoping you'd stay with him."
     "Wait. You want me to talk to some dude I've never met while you go visit your boyfriend?"
     "First off, Joshu is not my boyfriend! And secondly, yes."
     "But I've never met him."
     "Well, here's your chance to meet him now!"

      You and Yasuho approached a room with a big white door. Yasuho pushed it open and looked around. You were expecting him to be on the bed but he wasn't. Yasuho also seemed confused. As we were both searching, there was a muffled "hey?". You turned to look at a boy who was underneath a mattress with half of his body hanging out. He seemed to be dressed in regular hospital attire but accompanied by a cute little sailor hat.

     "Josuke? What are you doing under there?!"
     "There's no pressure if I sleep on top."
     "Huh?" Josuke didn't seem to answer Yasuho's question but had his attention on something else.
     "Who's that?" Josuke pointed to the person standing next to Yasuho.
      "Oh, this? This here is (Y/N)! I actually came to visit Joshu and I felt bad if I left you alone. So... I brought her so she could keep you company. As well having you get to meet new people!"

Feeling out of place, you just kind of stood there looking down. But for Josuke, it didn't seem like he knew exactly what to do either. Your body locked up when you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You just stood there, not returning the gesture. I mean, you just met this guy! He released from the hug while giving you a toothy smile. You had to admit, the gap in his teeth was definitely adorable.

"(Y/N), right?"
"Oh um, yeah. So, have your family been to visit or?"
"I don't know. Maybe. I don't remember my family." You felt bad for asking now. But it wasn't over yet. "I don't know anyone. I don't even know who I am. The only two people I know are Yasuho, and you. But who am I?"
"I-I... I'm not sure, Josuke." The expression on his face seemed to drop and his eyes had looked like they were about to water. "But, that doesn't mean we'll never know. You'll find out. We'll find out. I'll help you. So just know, you're not alone."

A/N
     Hey gamers, I finally finished this oneshot. I'm so super sorry it took so long. There's no reason except I was lazy and procrastinating. Like how I am right now with all my school work that's due today. Anyways, I'm sorry this was really bad but hopefully it'll suffice. If not, I can always try again. And I realized that after writing this, I need to reread Jojolion. But I just want a new chapter but I have to wait. Also might start a new chapter of the Diego x Reader soon. Anyways, later gamers.
