"Thank you very much, Mr. Müller. My EA will send you the agreed upon terms as soon as we got back to New York Head Quarter."
"Thank you, Mr. Sterling. It was leasure doing business with Sterling Empire."
"Well, then. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed Switzerland."
"We did. We'd be flying out tomorrow afternoon."
He immediately stood up and gathered his personal things leaving me to gather up the rest of things.
"Ms. Nedowski, we have a leisure time from now onwards, you may stroll around and I'll be in my room. Meet me in the dining hall later."
"Thank you, sir. I'll drop these first to my room and I'll be out."
I quickly search for places to go around. The weather was really nice. Sunny yet cool. I booked a boat trip around the Interlaken lake. Switzerland is truly majestic.
Despite living in Poland for 19 years, I've never once travelled out of the country so, it's a dream coming true and I probably wouldn't be able to do this easily if I wasn't hired by Sterling Empire as the COO's Executive Assistant.
The view of Interlaken is beyond beautiful. Mountain ranges, torquoise water of the lake, pleasant and welcoming locals.
The trip lasted for almost 2 hours. The sun was just setting down.
I took my phone and started taking photos when someone sat beside me on the bench.
I was startled when I recognized his voice.
"Ms. Nedowski. It's pleasant to meet you here."
"Mr. Müller, sir."
"Oh please, call me Liam. We're not at work."
"Alright, sir--I mean, Liam,"
"There you go. Have you been around?"
"Yes. This is the most wonderful place I've been so far."
"That's one of many things to people say about my country."
"It's true. I've never been to any place more enchanting than Switzerland."
"Ohh, you should come back here soon for travel and I'd gladly clear up my schedule to tour you around."
"That's an enticing offer, sir. I mean, Liam."
He is such a nice person despite his status.
"That's wonderful to hear. Just tip me off ahead of time, though."
"I'll do."
"How about dinner tonight? Mind if I invite you?"
"Thank you but I have to decline. My boss would be waiting for me at the dining hall."
"Ohh, I'll call him."
"No, thank you. Really."
"Alright. How about I join you two, instead?"
"I'm not sure about that."
"I see. I guess I'll have to wait until you come back here."
"I'll make time."
"Alright. Anyway, really wonderful to meet you, Aneska."
"Same goes here, Liam. I have to go now."
I was in a cab when my boss called me.
"Yes, sir? I'm already on my way back."
"We'll transfer to a new hotel now as we have to fly back tomorrow earlier."
