"Good morning, Mr. Sterling,"

"Good morning, Aneska. What's my schedule for today?"

"Sir, you have a meeting with St. Claire Botique's CEO, Ms. Rachelle Mendez at 9:30."

"Alright. What else?"

"You'll have time afterwards until 12:00 for contract signing with Le Amour Pattisserie's CFO."

"That's it?"

"No, sir. At 4:00 you'll have a meeting with Marketing Department heads,"

"Alright. Bring me the finalized contract with Le Amour. Make sure there aren't any errors."

"Yes, sir."

I accepted the job offer and I know I made the right decision.

My day went as usual. I had to be with my boss during his meetings, and do a lot of other things as receiving/making important calls, drafting papers/contract, organizing his meetings etc.

It could be boring to be honest but it's a really good start for me given the salary and everything else they give me.

Sterling Empire is truly a business empire run by  Rudford Sterling himself, one of the richest man in America, if not the in the whole world.

He only has one heir, my boss, Jameson Sterling. He's now a Director of Marketing and Services. Sooner or later he'll be taking his father's place. So, he's been living up to his standards does very well on his responsibilities. Really intelligent and very straightforward.

He always is on top of everything so, I must keep up with him and I have no room to make mistakes. He's quite thorough and detail-oriented. So, I have to be.

He made me learn languages from private classes. Mandarin, Japanese,
French, Italian, Swedish, and Korean.

No wonder why, they had business partners from these countries and other parts of the world.

Everything went as if a strong wind just passed by and took the months away. I've been working in their company for almost a year already.

I've made friends with other employees but due to Mr. Jameson's almost always full schedule, I rarely get to go out with them.

As time goes by, I get to know my boss little by little, too. Besides his drunken stories last year, I learned things about him-- what's he's like outside work, I was able to meet his best friend from college, Atty. Mitchel Ruiz, Spanish-American man twice.

He might seem to be a man of parties and formal gatherings but he only do those for business. Even his upcoming 30th Birthday is all about business and making wider connection.

It would be a huge party to be attended by biggest names in the corporate world and selected few personal connections.

I've been with the company for nearly a year and have attended countless formal parties and dinners with my boss so, I'd say, I've fully get accostumed to their lifestyle.

Many people think ultra-rich people's children are all about spending money and parties but not really. Yes, my boss spend a lot of money on his hobbies such as sailing, and flying airplanes--yes, he's a licensed pilot. He owns at least 2 private airplanes, 1 helicopter, 2 yatchs, and 6 expensive cars.

He is also into scuba diving, free diving and paragliding.
