Let's take it back a bit, to before time had a name and the universes were just starting out. The shadow zone was born to bridge the gap between the newly born realms, a blank space molded by its own will. A dark canvas in which anything could be created and the rules changed to fit this world of night. The Shadow Zone gave travelers passage between the worlds if they wanted to, it gave this privilege to people who it thought deserved it, but recently there was a problem, The Shadow Zone changed. The Shadow Zone was being attacked, for the first time in its creation the Shadow Zone was in trouble. The Shadow Zone had one rule and that was light, the light from the outside world ruined and corrupted the world in its whole. The shadow zone had a plan, and a people. The Zone formed a group, a group of shadow beings to protect the Shadow Zone from threats, but even would not be strong enough to save itself from our great threat. So It hatched a plan, from Curver’s home portal two of these shadow beasts ran out from the shadows that it knew so well. This new world was the Shadow Zones last hope, this could mean the end of the balance of good and evil.
The living shadows crossing the dark edges of our world, running, searching for its saviour. The light of the sun burning the shadows, time is of the essence, but where is Alaina? Alaina is walking home from the library until she is found by my shadows. Alaina is calm and collected seeing shadows guide her to a mysterious place is strange but she did not mind. The shadows did not speak, but somehow she knew she had to follow them. She knew this is something she had to do. “Wait, this is curvers house.” Alaina says at the shadows as they approach the normal looking house. “Is something wrong?” She says to the unspeaking creachers made of broken light running into Curver’s room she sees it. She sees the Shadow Zone. A crease in the world were the worlds intersect. The dark purple object in the middle of Curver’s messy room. A swirling vortex a dark purple, but the world was dying. Slowly the purple of the portal changed, the purple turned red, a dark red overflows from the world. “What happened to it?” Alaina questioned. She doesn't know what happened to the world, but even she knows something is wrong. She looked at the living shadows falling to their knees in pain. Gesturing to Alaina to go through the world. Alaina looked at the red portal and back at the embodiment of them. She only had seconds to think of an answer before the shadow walkers faded, she searched Curver’s desk, as the is being yelled ro go through the portal. “A small jar, a pen, a flashlight, she put a whole bunch of stuff in her bag.” before she is pushed into portel by one of the shadowed beings. Alaina is trusted into the world of shadows, the odds were not in her favor, as she is pushed in the portal she turns, and for a split second she can see one of the shadows, the one that pushed her fade to ash. Alaina went through the portal and into this new world. She looked around the empty space, a grim red fills the space, she is looking around, looking for anything, but it was blank. She looked on the ground and saw a note card, but it was blank. Nothing was on it, but she picked it up anyways.
Alaina was walking around the brimstone darkness of the new shadow zone, changed by the evil. Wondering in the dark loneliness of this empty realm, trying to find her purpose in this strange place. She walks in an endless void, neverending. The world around her changes and she appears in front of a hotel, the legendary hotel of the shadow zone, but it was strange, it was under new management. Alaina walked into the haunted hotel, the gothic overhaul to the interior had a vibe to the building. She walked up into the lobby. Alaina saw Jack sitting at the front desk, his legs on the desk. “Jack!” Alaina shouted at the new owner.
