Narrator POV

In a village called Konoha, also known as the leaf village, a celebration was going on, the villagers were happy and celebrating a certain part of they're history, because it's on this night 16 years ago that the Fourth Hokage defeated the nine tailed fox, though those who have never understood the life of a shinobi, don't truly understand what it means to 'defeat' a tailed beast, the myth say he couldn't be controlled, that his power was more than what humans such as themselves could understand, that he was such a monster no one would dare to try and control him but a few have tried and non of them ever returned, they hoped that with him in their control, they would become so powerful no-one would deny them, but there is also another side of the tailed beasts that no-one knew about

Each tailed beast was named as such, as each had a number of tails starting from the one-tail, two-tail, three-tail and so forth, up until you reach the nine tailed fox, the oldest of the nine siblings and the most powerful one, the one who brings fear to civilians and experienced shinobi alike, he is three thousand years old, with wisdom and experience to that of a god, but don't be fooled by him, as everyone knows a fox is a trickster, the best of course, he is also the boss of the kitsune summoning scroll, something that hasn't been seen for hundreds of years, as the foxes are very particular about who could sign the scroll, but this brings us back to the present, the civilians may think that the fox is gone but those who truly understood what the Fourth Hokage had done, know the truth, as I have stated no-one, not even the powerful Fourth Hokage could defeat a being that was born completely of chakra, no he had to seal the fox inside the body of a new born baby, that baby was his own son

On the edge of the forest over looking the village, was a young ninja with hair that shone like the sun and eyes like the deepest of oceans, though they hide a strength that was hidden from others, this boy was powerful. You see this young ninja isn't just a boy he's the jinchuriki of the nine tailed fox the strongest out of all of them, he's also the only one that the great Kurama would ever obey but if the villagers knew that they would treat him like a monster, of course the boy would never make the fox do anything he doesn't wish too, which secretly makes the fox like him much more than he thinks, they have been together since the day the boy was born and overtime, the fox has become a father, a friend, a sensei and so much more

Naruto POV

I stared at the village not truly seeing it, I could hear the cheers and laughter making me sigh as I stared in the distance {I think it's time I left this place} I thought slowly, it's something I've been thinking off for many years now but have never actually done it, though why I never, I don't know, something always kept me here by now "they wouldn't miss us kit, to them I'm the monster that attacked their village and your the boy who had the misfortune of becoming my jinchuriki, why don't we leave this place" Kurama said in my head, I was only four years old when I first stared talking to him after a night of pain when the villages caught me out late one night and it was also the night that I had changed, luckily only the jinchuriki of the tailed beast can talk to them in their head no one else can which I'm grateful about because he is my only friend "I know you feel guilty Kurama but attacking the village wasn't your fault you were tricked......I don't hate you so stop your sulking" I chuckled when I saw him pout.
