PROLOGUE
Alexia or Lexie is 23 years old. She's French and lives in a very quiet little town in the Parisian region with her parents and two younger brothers. At the end of a schooling almost without pitfall, she's about to have her first job as a photographer for the Kerrang! Magazine based in Los Angeles. A carefully considered choice for which she had to fight a long time with her mother (who's overprotective and thinks she's still twelve) so that she agreed to let her go to the other side of the planet.
Apart from all of this, Lexie has another passion. The music. And more particularly rock and metal music. From a very young age, she has been immersed in this universe thanks to her father who introduced her to the legends of the kind (Metallica, Motörhead, Alice Cooper ...). Over the years, this has allowed her to forge a very rich musical culture but still remains open-minded and loves other musical styles. She learned to play the guitar on her own and is starting to have a very good level which makes many of her friends jealous of her talent. She has music in her blood, so to speak, and it's felt when she starts playing or composing.
On the love side, Lexie's a bit unlucky. She always falls for the perfect assholes, like her previous relationship with Estébane, the bad boy from her photography school who had ended up having her in his nets. She had been attracted by his rebellious side and handsome talker. But their story ended very badly.
Her best friend, Ellie, is a bit like the sister she never had. Much more than a confidante, they always do everything together. They got to know each other in 5th grade and haven't left each other since. She's graduated from an art school and also goes to L.A for her first job as a tattoo artist. Ellie also plays the guitar. They had created a band together in high school but that didn't hold because they had little time to devote to it due to their respective studies. But they are far from letting this project down and hope to be able to reform one during their time in Los Angeles.
