Abandon Ship (Fox)

"No! You can't do this!" I said, as masked guards pulled me off the Saturn's bridge. "He's still on that ship!"

"Oh, I know, Captain McCloud," Sally told me. "But what's one little kid who's yet to make a difference in the world anyway compared to all of us?"

I managed to break away from the guards. "He just saved us the trouble of doing all this again!" I tried to explain. "And how do you know he's a kid?"

"I had the entire ship wired when I took command. I can hear everything that goes on."

Just then, a dog I didn't recognize came into the bridge. "Admiral!" he shouted. "Our cannons can't seem to breach the ship's armor! What should we do?"

"That gives me an idea..." she said softly. "I'll be known throughout the galaxy as a selfless hero..." She pressed a button on her chair. "Attention all crew, this is your admiral speaking. Evacuate the ship immediately."

"No, wait!" I started. "It's a trap!" I thought I was doing the right thing.

She silenced me and gestured to the guards. "Get this kid off my bridge." (I was rather bothered by that comment, I'm 25...)

They dragged me away to my quarters. I went to find Falco as soon as they left. He was still with Tails in the hangar we'd landed in. "What's going on?" he asked me.

"She's evacuating the ship," I told him. "I don't know why, but she'll leave us all stranded if she does that."

"It looks like the other option is to be shot," he said. "What would you say, Wolf?"

Wolf just growled approvingly.

"You see? I know where there's a diplomatic vessel on this ship, big enough for Lusius to dock to. I say we take that and hope for the best."

"I guess that could work," I conceded. "I'm going to be in my Arwing, though. Just in case."

"Alright," Falco said. "Tails, you follow me. Fox, go find your fighter."

"And what about me?" Wolf asked.

"You take an escape pod. Army'll pick you up. Can't take any chances with you commandeering our ship."

He sighed.

I ran off to the hangar my ship was in. Falco went in the opposite direction.
