My Simon,

I can't believe you sometimes. The raw power that you have at your disposal is terrifying. Yet it is so wonderful. However, to you, it means nothing. It's just a part of you. You have no idea how incredible you are. Your laughter and golden curls are so plain, so average. But, love, they are so beautiful. You are so beautiful.
You're afraid of the wraiths, and, somehow, it's heartwarming. The Chosen One, afraid of the thing under the bed. Although, in this case, the thing under the bed is real. So, I told you to sleep on my couch. Really, I just wanted you closer to me. I always want you closer to me.
I was tossing and turning before, but once I heard your soft, even breathing, I drifted into dreamland, dancing through fantasies of you and I. I'm sure your dreams were far different. Perhaps you were slaughtering me in your sleep, ripping each strand of hair out of my head, making sure I die in pain. But if you were dreaming of me, that's enough.
