CHAPTER 10

Sorry for taking that long gap , speaking the truth I had no wish to write ( had mood swings) due to my bad health condition , please pray for me and for everyone in the world ( Corona affected people) ....

POV : MAHNOOR
I was messaging baybay when she kicked back and said to go to the kitchen and make dinner for everyone, because of her kick I came out of my thoughts and feel pain in my arm where she kicked  but I said nothing  because I had no right to say something it all happened because of my father...... I clean my eyes with my scarf and head to the kitchen , my Amma ji has trained me in cooking because she always said that with the education girls should know the cooking and I was good in cooking like my Amma ji.
Mariam bhabi was standing there I ask her to tell me what to cook for a dinner she gave me a long list as if it's not a home it's a restaurant....
As she left the kitchen she called the maid with her and I stood al alone in the kitchen , I took a deep breath and start cooking while I was cooking no ones enter the kitchen  it was in my favour the without criticism I did my work . It was 8pm when I finished the work and cleaned the kitchen as per my habit Mariam bhabi entered the kitchen with the maid and start looking into the pots and said listen girl  set table by 9pm . My name is Mahnoor I said , she looked at me with one brow up and left the kitchen , I was too tired and sweaty so I went to take a bath but I forget that where is the room.....I was standing in the middle of the big hall when Hamza was passing by  " listen ! Could you please tell me that where is the bedroom" I said politely
He got a jerk and he stood where he was and point out on his left side corridor and walked away  I took a deep breath and walked in the corridor to find the room .
I took a bath and combed my long silky hairs , I was looking for a hair dryer when he entered the room. " what the hell are you doing in my cupboard" he yelled at me and came next to me .
I froze on my place because he was standing so close to me that I can smell his perfume easily.
Hamza came so close to her in his anger that he even realised when he can smell of a shampoo from her head .
" I was looking for a hair dryer" I moved and said .
He stared me head to toe then stepped back " I dont have a hair dryer" he said and went to the washroom.
I looked at the clock and ran to the kitchen to set the table ., " you have to make chappatis too ,dough is in the fridge make 20 chapatis " she said and walked out
I quickly took out dough and start making chappatis and during this I warm the food and set the table al alone  . By 9: 20 pm everyone came and sat on the table and start the dinner , I was running from kitchen to dining to give them fresh and hot chappatis.. they all were eating quietly .when father of Humza said baybay did you change the cook because today food is delicious ... I smiled and  saw bay bay said no and Mariam bhabi was making faces....  no one took my name that I was expecting , I was too tired after cooking and hungry too no one ask me to eat which is expected. When everyone finish the dinner Mariam bhabi said to clean the dishes and kitchen and baybay said "from tomorrow and onwards dinner duty is yours" ....
I shook my head I cleaned the table and then had my dinner in a kitchen like a maid ,tears were rolling down when I was eating and thinking of my house when I am at home Amma ji cooked only my favourite food and insist me to eat ... " haye abba ji what have you done to me , I cannot even curse you , you are my father but cannot forgive you " I cleaned my tears ,wash the dishes and clean the kitchen .I was dead tired when I entered the room.
Room was a mess, towel was on the bed pillows were not on its place , some clothes were on the floor and a mattress was in the middle of the room.
" OMG!another task" I said to myself and start cleaning the room Humza was not in the room so it's better that I cleaned it easily... I put my mattress next to the right side wall under the window took out bed sheet and lay down on it ," oh what a nice first day in my in laws house" I sarcastically said to my self and tried to sleep when the light switch on , I put blanket on my face .

POV: HAMZA

In the evening when I entered my room I saw her searching something in my cupboard ,anger boiled in my brain that how dare she touch my stuff I ran to her and yelled that what she is doing in my cupboard
She jumped on her place and froze suddenly I realised that I am standing too close to her I stepped back  I said  again that what she is searching for at that she turned around her eyes were full of frightened , Igot froze on my place  on seeing  her innocent beauty with big frightened eyes she seems like a dove I stared her top to toe she is a beauty my mind said ,then she said she is looking for a dryer I answered her and then went to the washroom , I calm down myself but her frightened face again and again coming in my mind . I then removed her from my mind and took a bath .when I came out she was not in the room. It was her first day but it seems that she belonged from here because she is doing what ever shes been asked for. We were having dinner when I saw her bringing fresh chappatis to the table. Dinner was too delicious and I could figure out that our cook did not cooked it . Food has totally new taste so its obvious that food is made by her .... no one took her name , when we were leaving I heard what Mariam bhabi and Baybay were ordering her .... I got upset , why i got upset i spoke to myself ????
Because she is innocent what had happened with Adil bhai it was all her brothers fault .her brother was the one who has to punished but what can I can said about the village old feudal laws  ..
I took ou cigarettes and went to the outer lawn sat there for quiet long time and thinking about all this , what a marriage ???? is this I wish for ???? "O my lord please show me the right path and give peace to my heart and give courage to me " I prayed and stood up to go back to my room
As I switched on the light I was surprised to see my room was super clean  and a mattress was under the window and she was sleeping on it . So she did it I said in my mind and head to my bed and switched off the lights......
