Perrie's POV.
When I wake up, it's still night. I guess I slept for an hour or two maybe? I take a glance at Zayn. He's still sleeping, but his wound healed. Oh my god, that freaking crown just healed his wound! I stayed calm back then, but I silently freaked out inside. He actually seemed calm, talking about how I couldn't tell anyone. I don't think I will. I mean, in about a week I'm in the mountains and I'll never see the crown, nor Zayn again.
Suddenly Zayn wakes up and sits straight up. He looks at the fire. The fire is still burning, but very low.
'I'm going to get some extra wood.' He states and gets up. I don't know if I'm okay with that, because it's pitch dark here and he's alone. But I keep my mouth shut. I just smile and nod. He walks away and I sigh a bit.
'God, I thought he'd never leave.' A voice I'd recognize everywhere suddenly says.
Aunt Clarissa. My eyes widen and and quickly turn around.
'A-aunt Clarissa, I uhm...' I stutter. Ok, this wasn't like the plan. Even if I did have a plan, this isn't part of it.
'Well, your eyes still work, fortunately.' She says sarcastically.
'How long have you been here?' I ask, ignoring her comment.
'Long enough to see that crown shining bright on your head.' She says coldly.
'W-what?' I stutter.
'You know what I mean.' She growls. Okay, one thing is sure, I can't let her know about that crown.
'I-I don't know what you're talking about.' I say, holding my ground.
'Oh Perrie, please. Don't play stupid.' She sighs, 'Just come with me. You're not safe here. Or with him. Come on. Take that crown with you and we'll forget this ever happened.' She says, grabbing my arm. But I know, this won't ever be okay. She will always dislike me more because of this. I pull my arm out of her grip.
'No.' I answer. She looks surprised.
'No?' She asks, 'Oh, I see... You don't want to go back? You think you like it here! With that bad guy type. What are you thinking?!' She asks, getting angry, 'Just come with me.'
'I-I... I think he likes me...' I say, hesitating. I actually never said that out loud before, but I really think it. Since that kiss....
Aunt Clarissa starts laughing.
'Likes you? Perrie dear, all he cares about is to get that crown, to get you away from here so you won't tell anyone. That is what he wants, not you.' She says, 'He doesn't like you.' She reassures me. I feel really empty now. She just said everything I fear.
'Hey Perrie! Can you also, like, make my arms super strong with your superpowers? This wood is heavy.' Zayn's voice suddenly says. I look up to aunt Clarissa, but she's gone. I don't dare to look at him.
'Hey, are you alright?' He asks concerned. I take a deep breath and turn around, trying to act like I always do.
'Uhm yea! I was just scared by an animal, but it just was a cute rabbit.' I say, trying to make my laughter sound real. I probably failed. He smiles, but his concerned look doesn't fade all away.
'Ok. I'll make the fire on again and then we can go back to sleep.' He says. I nod and lay down again. I wipe my hair out of my face, but suddenly I notice it is, like, 3 inch longer. I decide to let it go, it's probably just imagination because I'm so tired.
-------------
We decided to keep moving, because we already had two days rest. We actually should be there already.
While walking through the woods in silent, I get more doubts, partly about my decision by the minute.
First point, I doubt me and Zayn. Was aunt Clarissa right? About the crown, about him, about everything. But how does that explain the way we kissed in that river? It's confusing,
Second point, what if he does like me, and I like him back? I'll be miles away from him, alone.
Do I really want to be in the mountains forever?

Sorry for the late and short and late update, I just have a huge writers block.
Anyway, I have some ideas now....
