"What is it father?" Mitsuko asked
"What is your plan?" Hojo asked
"Plan?" Mitsuko asked
"Now that we're going to...do this human and vampire connection then we need to know what will you do. Since you'll be the future Queen" Hojo said
"A plan..." Mitsuko mumbled and trembled
I have no fucking clue! I don't know how those vampires attack...
"You do have a plan don't you?" Hojo asked
"W-well...I...didn't know I would come up with a plan. I mean...sure I've hunted vampires but I've never been in a battle before" Mitsuko said
"Well if you want your little friends to be safe...then you might not have any other choice but to fight the enemies. We've been attacked already, Mitsuko. Our Kingdom has never gotten attacked like this before. Those vampires will only keep attacking all because of your...you know who" Hojo said with a little frustration. Mitsuko trembled a bit and looked down
"...hey father. Do you...hate me?" Mitsuko asked. Hojo's eyes widen for a moment and looked at Mitsuko
"What?" Hojo asked slightly surprised
"You always tell me to do this and that. I try my best but...I can't. I just...can't seem to be like you" Mitsuko said as she teared up. Hojo only looked surprised and panicked a bit
Wh-what? Is she...a-about to cry?
"W-wait Mitsuko that uh...n-no. I uh..." Hojo paused and cleared his throat
"L-listen Mitsuko uh...I r-really didn't want to hurt you or make you f-feel bad" Hojo said
I'm really terrible at this parent stuff...
"Th-then why are you always t-telling me to be strong? I-I was just a kid back then and y-you would always yell at me for n-not doing anything right..." Mitsuko said as she looked down. Hojo only trembled a bit and sighed
"Mitsuko...I-I really never meant to hurt you. I just...just wanted you to be strong and brave but not turn you into me. I only wanted you to be a strong...besides...I don't want you to turn like me. All I wanted was the best for you..." Hojo said as he looked down. He took a deep breath and sighed softly
"Mitsuko...the truth is...back when I was a kid..."
Flashback
SLAP!
"You worthless son of mine. How could you let this happen..." The woman said sternly. Hojo only trembled tears built up in his eyes
"Don't you dare cry like a kid! You are old enough to fight!" His mother said raising her voice. Hojo flinched as he tried to muffle his cries
"Shintanis don't cry" His mother said as she grabbed him by his hair
"F-forgive me mother! I'm sorry!" Hojo cried and his mother slapped him
"Don't speak to me like that! Besides this is all your fault! For running away like a coward! You are a man, Hojo. You should start acting like it" His mother said sternly
"I-I never meant t-to run away...I-I was scared!" Hojo said
"You were scared like a little bitch. I didn't raise you to act like a little crybaby girl running away from a fight. Your father was suppose to teach you how to be a man and how to fight back. He risked his life to save you all those times you were in danger and this is how you repay him? By running away like a coward?" His mother asked as she looked at the 10 year old boy with cold dark brown eyes. Hojo only looked at his mother as he trembled in fear
"I-I'm sorry..." Hojo mumbled and trembled. His mother only grabbed him and dragged his body out the room
"W-wait! Stop it!" Hojo cried as he struggled to get out of her grip
"Guards!" The woman called. The guards walked up to the woman and bowed
"Yes ma'am" The guards said
"Take this bitch to the arena. We will have a special ceremony for him. It's time that he learns his lesson" The woman said
"Wh-what? M-mom?" Hojo asked and the guards grabbed Hojo's arm before dragging him away
"W-wait! Mom! I promise to be better! I won't do anything wrong! Please mom! Stop this!" Hojo cried as he tried to free himself. His mother only glared at him and turned her back on him. Hojo only cried as he shut his eyes tight. He was dragged to a room where the guards began to strip him naked
"Pl-please stop! N-no!" Hojo cried as he tried to fight back
"Shut up!" The guard said as he punched him. Hojo only cried and trembled as the guards took his clothes off then grabbed him once again. He got taken outside in the winter cold and began to shiver. He tried to covered himself up and got taken to the arena where he was tied up to a post
"Pl-please! Let me go!" Hojo shouted. The guards remained silent and tied the ropes around his wrist to the post
"L-let go! Please! I promise to be better!" Hojo cried. The guards didn't show any remorse nor pity. They only wore their serious expression and left the poor naked boy outside freezing. Hojo shivered as he tried to endure the freezing cold wind. He ended up falling on the snow and curled himself into a ball as tears rolled down his cheeks. He clenched his fists tightly and whimpered
"I-I'm sorry...I'm sorry d-dad...this i-is my fault..." Hojo cried. Minutes passed by and he opened his eyes seeing a shadow fly by. He shivered and opened his eyes
"Wh-who...is...it?" Hojo mumbled weakly. The shadow landed on the soft snow and knelt down
"You seem fucked up..." The vampire giggled and sat down. Hojo coughed and struggled to breathe as he tried to look at the vampire. He blinked a few times and gasped seeing the vampire in front of him
'V-vampire...'
"D-don't hurt...m-me please...I-I beg you..." Hojo cried softly
"Oh no no. I won't hurt you little one. Besides...you're dead" The vampire said as she stood up and walked close to him
"D-dead? Then wh-why am I still here?" Hojo asked
"Because I want to help you out little one" The vampire said
"H-help...?" Hojo asked and seemed surprised
"Yes...I want to help you" The vampire said and smiled warmly
"H-how?" Hojo asked. The vampire got close to him and placed her hand on his head
"I will help under one condition..." The vampire said and kneeled down right in front of him
"Wh-what?" Hojo asked confused
"...your precious wife" The vampire said
"E-excuse me? W-wife?" Hojo asked extremely confused
"I'll help if you give me your wife..." The vampire giggled
"B-but I don't have one" Hojo said
"In the future...you will repay me" The vampire said
"...o-okay. Just s-save me...please..." Hojo said weakly and trembled
"Hahaha! Excellent! Now let me help you, Hojo Shintani. By making you the most powerful and strongest King" The vampire laughed as her eyes glowed a purple color. Hojo's eyes widened as he felt something enter his body and trembled. Dark shadows came from the vampire's hand then entered inside of the boy's body
"But in order to help you become King...there must be a few sacrifices" The vampire said. Hojo's eyes glowed red as he began to trembled and clenched his fists tightly
"Get rid of your own mother..." The vampire whispered
End Of Flashback
"A-a vampire saved you?" Mitsuko asked
"Yes...and that vampire...looks so much like your little partner" Hojo said and leaned back in his chair
It could be a coincidence...but...they both look alike
"C-could it be...her mother?" Mitsuko asked
"Well...it could be since vampires live for thousands of years. Maybe millions..." Hojo said
"Maybe so..." Mitsuko said and jumped as her father patted her head
"Ah sorry...didn't mean to scare you. So...has she woken up?" Hojo asked
"Well...yes but she is in her Queen form and they don't want me to be near her yet" Mitsuko said
"Hm...I believe she is the one who might help right?" Hojo asked
"I think so..." Mitsuko said
"We'll wait for her until she comes back. For now it's best to stay calm and look out for any vampires who end up attacking this place again" Hojo said
"Okay" Mitsuko said. Hojo looked at his daughter and looked down a bit
"Mitsuko...please forgive me. I know I'm not a great father...I was only wanting to protect you from those vampires. I didn't want you to suffer but...in the end I still made your life a living hell" Hojo said as he trembled. Mitsuko looked at him and held his hand
"D-dad...it's okay. I forgive you but...is it o-okay to...marry her?" Mitsuko asked as she trembled a bit. Hojo only gave her a soft smile and nodded
"Of course. Besides...she must be a nice person" Hojo said
"Yes...she is really nice and...strong" Mitsuko said as she blushed
Matsuri...

Maruta only stepped back as she held the old book and carefully stepped out
"Hi" Harumin said which startled her
"A-ah! Harumi! O-oh it's just you" Maruta said and sighed in relief
"Did I scare you?" Harumin asked as she giggled
"Please don't sneak up on me like that..." Maruta said
"Sorry Maruta and uh...what is that? And what's inside?" Harumin asked as she looked at the room
"O-oh it's nothing! Anyways let's get out" Maruta said as she pushed Harumin gently
"Wait what is it?" Harumin asked
"I-it's nothing. Your sister just wanted me to grab a book for her" Maruta said
"A book? Why?" Harumin asked
"Probably because of her partner" Maruta said and held Harumin as she walked out the library with her. Harumin turned around and noticed the old book she was holding
"Is that about vampires?" Harumin asked
"Yes. It's a really old book about all the vampires" Maruta said and opened the book. She turned a few pages and read some of the titles
Wow...I can't believe there are so many different types of vampires. I wonder how long it took them to make this book. I bet they used this just in case
"Let me see" Harumin said as she leaned in towards Maruta. Maruta tilted the book letting her see the pages
"Wow...they even have drawings of them. That's cool!" Harumin said
"I guess these were the oldest vampires in history" Maruta said
"Damn...those are freaky vampires" Harumim said
"They probably evolved over time" Maruta said
"But they look creepy and now the ones we have don't look that creepy" Harumin said
"Alright. Now we need to give this to Micchan" Maruta said and walked down the hallways while looking around
Where is she?
"Maruta!" Mitsuko called. Maruta stopped and turned around
"Oh there you are Micchan" Maruta said and smiled
"Did you get it?" Mitsuko asked as she walked up to her
"Of course. I have the book but be careful. It's really old and delicate" Maruta said as she handed her the book
"Okay. Thank you" Mitsuko said as she grabbed the book carefully
"Hey sis. Is that for Matsuri?" Harumin asked
"Yes. I need to know what is going on with her and I think I could find it in this book" Mitsuko said
"She's still not waking up?" Harumin asked
"She is awake but...she is in her Queen form and they told me to stay away from her while she's in that form" Mitsuko said
And spoke about the bloody Red Moon thing so I need to find some answers about that moon stuff...is it that bad?
"And did you talk with dad?" Harumin asked
"Hm...yeah. I spoke to him" Mitsuko said
"It wasn't anything bad right?" Harumin asked
"Of course not. Anyways I better get going and try to look for answers" Mitsuko said as she looked around the book and kept turning the pages
"Okay. Have fun reading" Harumin said and grabbed Maruta
"Wh-what?" Maruta asked
"Can we go out now? I don't have friends and Kori is busy with stuff" Harumin said
"U-uhm sure" Maruta said slightly nervously
"Okay. Bye big sis" Harumin said
"B-bye Micchan" Maruta said
"Bye you two. Be safe and have fun" Mitsuko said as she kept looking at the pages
"Now time to find that page..." Mitsuko mumbled
