just a few disclaimers for anyone who cares. skip if you want, no pressure :3

• the character of Bak Haseong was originally based on a former member of Stray Kids. i changed his name after i decided i didn't want to be associated with him

• though this text was originally inspired by Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, i've taken the characters i've developed and put them in an entirely new plot. credit to me, Lee Felix, Seo Changbin, and the rest of Stray Kids. credit to rightful owners of the photos used, and the *crappy* editing is mine

•  it was hard to decide on what to put in the title, because the first part of this book is mainly changlix's love story, and the second part morphs into a bit of a Felix-centric disaster. so. that's what's going on

• this book is technically a prequel to my other books 'daybreak' and 'nightfall' as they take place in the same universe, but the plots don't have much to do with each other, don't overlap, and it's not necessary to read the others to understand this one **although what happens in this book just might come back in later stories... maybe ;)))**

• and because it's a prequel that takes place in 1922, minho has not become a vampire yet -- he hasn't even been born -- so he is not in this book. i missed him the whole time i was writing this and i wish i could have included him :(

• contains profanity

• unfortunately no smut

• this book contains vampire-related blood/murder/gore and mentions of drug use. i have trigger warnings at the beginnings of sensitive chapters

• Stray Kids' personalities in this book are exaggerated interpretations of how i perceive them and choose to write them. they do not share any of the opinions or experiences with the real Stray Kids members

• my playlist for the story:
GOT7 - Trust My Love
Neovaii - Labels
Dreamcatcher - In The Frozen
Lost Sky - Dreams pt. II (feat. Sara Skinner)
TheFatRat - Monody (ft Laura Brehm)
Lost Identities, Onyra - Another Round
Golden Child - ONE (Lucid Dream)

all right, that's all! happy reading!
