Sinclair POV
"You're lying. Stop lying to me!" the anger that surged through Sinclair's body at the very moment was intense. His entire body shook with fury as his body temperature rose drastically.
His eyes switched from blue to black every few seconds as he raised his fist, slamming it down with everything he could muster as he saw red. A loud crunch filled the room but it didn't faze Sinclair as he sent blow after blow to the man who'd had him terrified and worried for so long only to come to him with this utter fuckery and lies.
Lucifer despite his weakness, and the pain racking up his body wasn't going to let his stupid, spoiled little nephew beat him to a pulp like he was nothing.
He snarled as his eyes turned red, using all his strength to kick Sinclair off of him, sending him straight through the wall.
"I'm not lying to boy! I owe you nothing! You're nothing! I have no reason to lie to you" he spat after his statement, a metallic taste in his mouth as Sinclair appeared from the rubble.
"You're taking bullshit! Kida pregnant? With your mate? Impossible! What the fuck did you do?!"
Sinclair's body started shaking, his eyes turned completely black and a searing pain winded up his back as a pounding sounded in his head. His finger nails and canine teeth elongated to talons. Two sharp Horne jotted from his forehead blood fresh on the tips as his skin darkened to an almost ash grey color. A dark voice sounded from his throat.
" What have you done Lucifer?"
"Where is my mate?"
The temperature in the room had dropped drastically, the sects of dust and the debris that had fallen during the fight were perfect still in mid air. Everything was frozen.
"What have you done?"
Kida-Rose POV
I don't know how long we'd been walking. I'd lost count of the hours a while ago. Dehlaney refused to stop, she had a firm grip on my hand as we walked along. The sounds of moaning, groaning, screaming from the pit below us had become a familiar sound.
What looked like the shadows of people were trying to crawl out, their fingers scrapped and grabbed at the cracked pitch path desperately trying to get out, some were close, they'd get one leg over their entire upper body and every time a smile would appear on their miserable faces but to no avail. The second they reached to far other shadows would climb onto them, pulling them back into the pit for the process to start with another.
Creatures zipped through the sky cawing loudly, they'd dip down at times and I'd catch a glimpse of their blood red eyes. Surprisingly, the place was cold, like freezing cold. My teeth chattered slightly and I rubbed my free hand around my belly in an attempt to keep her warm.
Dehlaney hadn't said a word since we left the gates. The more we walked, the more tense she got. Her eyes darted around as if she was looking for something and she'd shiver every now and then.
"We're almost there" we stopped suddenly, making me stumble slightly but catch myself quickly. I felt like a two year old. I had no idea what was really going on and was completely lost in everything right now. Only then did my feet start throbbing. They felt static and no doubt they were blistered, I was barefoot after all.
"Almost where?" I questioned her and she gazed over her shoulder, a certain look in her eye that I couldn't place.
"The center of hell"
"What do you mean the centre of hell?"
In an instant the place was freezing cold, a harsh shiver ran up my spine and my hand automatically went to my belly as mt pores raised. The hairs at the back of my neck stood up.
A gut feeling ran thru me, something was wrong something was definitely wrong. The coldness slowly turned to heat and all of a sudden it felt like I was on fire. The strange yet familiar feeling of my wings breaking free from my back went through me, the loud whoosh telling me in fact they were out.
The flames crawled all over me, slow, agonising. I knew this feeling, these flames, all to well. Sinclair, somethings wrong with Sinclair. My belly started glowing, the heat intensifying as my eyes flashed white and I felt like I was being yanked.
My surroundings changed. I was in the castle now. Dead bodies were strewn all around, blood splatters covered the walls, well what was left of the walls and groans filled the air.
My eyes locked on the creature in the air. Its dark wings, black as night, its horns sharp as knives, his eyes, there was nothing, inky black and nothing more. He picked up guards like they were dolls, ripping their throats out and flinging them aside. Men were fleeing and hiding away, even King Damon looked terrified.
What was that?
Then it's eyes turned to me and I froze in my spot. In a snap it was in front of me. It hovered slightly, before it's feet touched the ground looking me up and down in a confused way. For some reason it made me giggle. Not even an ounce of fear ran through me as this creature stood in front of me.
Its ash skin seemed cracked, between the cracks looked like pure lava and I stared at it, intrigued. What is even happening right now?
I reached out and touched it's chest, gasping at the sparks that shot through my hand. S-Sinny? I pulled my hand away like I was burned. Sinclair? It couldn't be.
I looked up and into its eyes again seeing the creature looked equally as confused as me. His wings contracted as he tried to reach for me but his hands went right through me I couldn't feel a thing.
I tried again, slowly touching it's chest, seeing the creature tensd up as I moved my hands slowly against it's chiseled chest, up to his broad shoulders until I cupped his cheeks.
The creature instantly relaxed. One of it's dark eyes faded to a blue I was all to familiar with as it melted into my palm. Then it hit me.
"Arson?"
In a blink I was back in hell. Dehlaney stood over me looking worried as ever as I hyperventilated, looking around to see if everything was back to normal. Did that happen? What the fuck even was that? What the fuck just happened?
"Kida! Kida, you need to calm down!" Dehlaney, held my shoulders shaking me as tears welled in my eyes.
"I saw Arson. S-Sinclair? I don't know. I was here and then I was there." I looked around in panic, staring at my hands like they weren't my own, as the world began to sway.
"Kida don't you dare I swear to God!"
I was out like a light.
