'So I'm assuming Percy is my soulmate, and he knows why he's here, and that he will be now living with me' I questioned trying to get my head around this. 'Yes, yes and yes' Loki replies, 'So what do you think' he asked almost scared for my reply. 'Well he's good looking, and so far well-mannered' I admitted, quite happy with Percy so far. 'Good' Loki said, though with his distant tone and unreadable look I could tell that wasn't all he was thinking. 'Is something wrong' I asked sweetly giving him a concerned look. 'Well there's a bit of a catch to this soulmate of yours...' Loki said, not meeting my eye. Oh god, like every lame story there was always a catch, hopefully this one is isn't too big.
'Ok, what is it' I said trying to sound understanding as my patience slowy melted away. 'Your "soulmate" may not necessarily love you.' Loki whispered. 'Huh, what do you mean' I said panicking, wondering why he even brought Percy then. 'I can't guarantee whether he will love you or not, he is human, just like you and is capable of making his own decisions, one of them being whether he loves you or not.' Loki explained. His explanation was reasonable but I was now disheartened about this new soulmate. 'You can't change that?' I said weakly, hoping he would say yes. ' Unless you want me to strip him from his freedom and indepence, and have me control his thoughts always, with the risk he could escape that control and blame his imprisonment on you leaving you with a bad reputation and a broken heart. I think you'll have to go the unreliable way, make him love you, grow a bond between you, and if that doesn't work come to me'. I sighed admitting defeat. 'So how would I call you if this doesn't work?' I asked, already looking at the negatives.'Here, give me your wrist' he mumured holding onto my right wrist. Then he tatooed something on my wrist, a rune of some sort, and gave me a necklace which contained the spell I would use with the rune to go to him. From there we had a small chat about life, forgetting about the god and soulmate we had left alone in the kitchen. Then relising we needed to talk with them, mainly just Percy, we proceeded to head to the kitchen.
I hate to admit it, but I was starting to trust Loki, which was a dangerous thing, he could use my abilities against me if I wasn't careful. I guess that's what you get when meeting a god. Especially one like him. A god of mischeif, whose good looks, cunning words, and sly movements are deadly. Yet to me he felt like a father figure. Now that was weird.
