I laughed when I came into the kitchen, Loki doing the same, for there was the most amusing sight before us. There was Percy and Thor, both drunk, with their T-shirts tied into crop tops and their pants hitched up and a face full of makeup with looks of shock as they relised they'd been caught in the act of something something stupid. What an impression they made. They drunkly pleaded for us not to tell a soul as Loki and I howled with laughter. After we caught our breathes Loki and I came to the decsion that Thor and Loki would have to stay overnight as Loki would need to chat with Percy without him being drunk, and the fact Loki couldn't take Thor home in this state, plus the gas was till hanging around. Though it just goes to show what happens when you leave men alone for too long.
After organising sleeping arrangements I started cooking dinner as Loki went to clean Thor and Percy up. There I got some alone time, which I felt I needed, even though these men haven't been my house for day yet, and the last time I had visitors was when I first met Loki. I quietly sang and danced by myself, my usual routine, as I tried to cook something a little bit more complex, as I was catering for gods. I cursed as I burnt myself sinking down to the floor, cooking was not my greatest talent and I probably didn't have long before Thor and Percy were cleaned up. Pulling myself together I put the meal into the oven set a timer and just sat on the cold tiles of the kitchen floor, tears running down my face. I was stressed and tired, this was too much for a 17 year old.
As I sat there having a break down Thor walked into the kitchen. Not noticing me at first he had a quick check of whats in the oven, commenting on how home-made food was the best, then noticing me he jumped in surprise swearing loudly, then as I winced at the noise, his shocked expression turned into a concerned one as he came towards me and sat down next to me, grunting and making a joke on how old he is, while casting me a friendly smile. Assuming his drunkness was wearing off I just sat there in silence waiting to see how he would approach this situation. His approach was suprising.
'You probably find all this stressful Grace' he stated, and I waited for the big speech to come, 'And I apologise for my drunken state, while travelling to find your soulmate we came through some intresting countries, some with particually good beer. I know it must have been a surprise when you found us in your shelter this afternoon, you were in a state of shock, I could see that quite clearly, beleive it or not. Plus now you have met your dream man in person, which is life changing. And you now have two Norse gods currently in your shelter. All of this must be way out of your comfort zone.' Thor finished looking quite proud of himself, then added, 'If you tell anyone what you saw me doing tonight I will not hestitate to electricute you and anyone who has heard, you have my warning Grace' he finshed in a threatening tone just as Loki and a dizzy Percy came into the room. Seeing my tear stained face Loki opened his mouth but I cut him off (yet again) 'Dinner should be ready soon' I said smiling getting up off the floor, Thor doing the same. And as if the oven timer could hear me it rang. Dinner was served.
