JJ clinched his fists as he felt the razor go down his arms, trying to ignore the pain. But how could he when he knew that his soulmate was intentionally hurting himself. It wasn't for JJ, the pain, actually he was 90% sure his soulmate didn't think he had a soulmate, which could be possible.

This was only the case because 1, JJ never ever got hurt. And he did that on purpose; he tried so hard, even when he was little, not to hurt himself so his soulmate wouldn't get hurt. So in this case his soulmate didn't feel any pain except from himself. And also 2, most people found their soulmate when they are young, between 13 and 18.

JJ is 26.

Still, in all his years, he never gave up hope because he knew his soulmate, whoever they are, are alive.

And JJ was going to find him.

First of all, the pain JJ felt had to stop. He just felt his arms hurt for so long and he knew that his soulmate would feel twice that much pain.

"Hurting again?" JJ heard behind him as he turned his chair and saw Josh walk into his room.

"Yeah, man. It hurts like a bitch." JJ reported as he held his wrists. He turned back in his chair and kept editing his video.

"So did you see the group chat? We're meeting up in an hour to film." Josh said and JJ immediately took out his phone to see 20+ messages from the guys.

"Alright, thanks." JJ said as he scrolled through. Josh looked at him with puzzling eyes.

"So JJ, when are you just going to really look for your soulmate? I mean it's been a long time that you've known about them, why don't you look for them?" Josh asked and JJ just shrugged.

"Yeah, I guess. I just haven't gotten around to doing it- you know how busy I am, with my music and videos and such. I just don't have time for a girlfriend- or boyfriend for that matter. Whoever they are." JJ responded and Josh gave him sad eyes.

"How about we go out, after the shooting? We can look for them, us and maybe some of the guys? I know Simon needs to get out of his flat now." Josh comments and JJ perks up.

"That actually sounds fun, thanks dad." JJ says and Josh rolls his eyes, nodding and smiles.

"Yeah, no problem. I'm going to text Simon now." Josh says as JJ turns his chair back around.

-/-Later-/-

After the hour shooting, JJ, Josh and a reluctant Simon goes through to the bar of the night club.

"Really, Josh? THIS is your idea of a night out?" Simon grumbles as Josh smiles at him.

"Well JJ needs to find his soulmate. And so do you, for that matter. Not all of them are going to be right beside you, ya know. You need to get out- and party!" Josh says as he goes to order a drink.

"Says you! You're the one who met your soulmate at school! You're practically married!" Simon complains as both Simon and JJ watch Josh disappear.

"Now what do we do?" JJ asked as he turns to Simon.

"I don't know, Josh is the one who dragged us out here."

"Ok, fine. Let's just go get drunk." JJ mumbles so only Simon can here. JJ takes his arm, kind of forcefully, and drags him to the bar. JJ felt a small pain in his arm but he ignored it, thinking it was his soulmate again.

Once they both got a seat at the bar and both ordered, they sat in quiet, minus the loud music in the background.

"So-um- I didn't actually remember you haven't found your soulmate. I guess I was kind of wrapped in my own little world." JJ says as Simon shrugged.

"Yeah. I actually don't think I do have a soulmate. I've never experienced any foreign pain, and ya know, cause I'm 27 and all. Kind of too late for a soulmate. I've gotten used to it, though, the feeling of knowing that I'm going to die alone." Simon smiled sadly.

"Hey, hey. You are not going to die alone. Alright? You have us. And we have each other. We're best friends and that won't change." JJ said but Simon only looked down and nodded.

"I-I'm just going to go to the bathroom." Simon says as he gets up but JJ quickly reach out his arm, grabbing Simon's sleeves as JJ sees Simon's arms.

They were covered in scars.

Simon makes eye contact with JJ as everything hits him. Simon gets scared and runs away from JJ, afraid of facing the consequences of his actions.

"Simon, wait!" JJ yells as Simon just runs out the bar. Before Simon could get in a car, JJ stands in the middle of the road and yells. "Simon, you're my soulmate!"

Simon looks at him in confusion, but just as he realizes, JJ sees lights coming toward him as he is hit by pain all around him.

"JJ!" Simon screams at the top of his lungs as he feels undeniable pain throughout his body.

Simon crumbles to the ground as he sees the person in the truck that hit JJ get out of the car and try to help him.

He then sees someone run to him and his collapsed body.

"Simon? Simon!" Simon hears as he blacks out.

Simon wakes up in a dull light around him, someone sitting beside him. Josh.

"Josh? What's going on?" Simon says as he then remembers everything. "W-Where's JJ? Is he ok?" Simon says quickly as Josh shushes him.

"He's going to be ok. He's in a lot of pain so they gave him sedatives, but so are you. How are you?" Josh asks and Simon tries to shrug but the pain came crawling back.

"I wasn't the one hit by a truck." Simon responds as Josh nods.

"Well, you had the pain of it." Josh comments as Simon nods.

"Can I see him?" Simon asks and Josh smiles.

Simon was taken in JJ's room, seeing him with casts and a ventilator.

Simon goes and sits next to JJ, who slowly opens his eyes. He struggles to talk but Simon shushes him.

"Try not to speak." Simon says and then kisses the top of JJ's head. "My soulmate."
