"You need some help?" Gemma offered, noticing my difficulty as I hobbled towards the elevator.

My eyes go wide for a moment at hearing her question, "No, I'll manage." I dismiss stepping into the elevator. Gemma was a nice person and all, but having a 5'2 girl help me walk was not something that appealed to me, even if I might possibly need it.

She selected floor number three on the number panel before standing back and leaning against the metal wall. The elevator begins to fill with a stiff silence. The only sound present being that of my fingers drumming rhythmically against the nearest surface.

"Where did you get all those?" she asks motioning at my upper body.

My body is riddled with all kinds of scars and marks, most of which I do not even remember how I got them. What else could she be referring to? Not exactly the best small talk. Her question seems to irritate me causing me to respond in a more harsh voice than I intended.

"How should I know? I got my memory wiped." I instantly regret my tone when the words leave my mouth. She turns her amber eyes towards the floor in silence.

"Sorry." I murmur.  I tend to get more aggressive when I have not had my serum, it is only a matter of time before Charthrax is back. That will not be fun to cover up, I already seem crazy.

Finally, the elevator dings while the doors slide open and I let out a breath I did not know I was holding.

We walk through a few rooms that all seem the same to me when we finally arrive at our destination. Gemma opens the door into the large grey room filled with beds every few feet. Each bed has a single grey locker beside it. Not the most luxurious sleeping accommodations, but anything is better than a cell.

George, Daesung, Ellie, and basically everyone from my cellblock are sitting around at the other side of the room. Their attention turns towards me and Gemma when we walk in.

"Oh, you're here!" Daesung beams, jogging over and startles me with a bro hug.

"That's your bed and locker by the way." Ellie says pointing over to one of the identical beds, though unfortunately for me the one right beside George.

"Near thought you had died or something" George mumbles with a hint of sarcasm when I manage to stumble over.

Fading bruises are still evident on his face from when I had beat him up about a week ago back at Umbra. Though by now his eye was less swollen, he still looks a pitiful sight. Despite what I did to his face, he still tried to help me after I had strangled the Overseer.

"I'm uh, I want to apologise for messing up your face the other day," I say in a low barely-audible voice whilst scratching the back of my head.

He plonks down onto his bed, sighing and running his hands through his hair, "Look, don't worry about it..it's okay."

"No, it's not." I interject looking him in the eye, "I'm sorry okay?"

He nods in response but remains silent. Not long after that Daesung cuts in, "I never got a chance to ask but what was that all about anyway?"

"I knew Axel before all of...this. I remembered something I had done a while back, I told him about it, and now I wish I hadn't."

Although it would have been preferable for George to say nothing I am just grateful he didn't tell everyone what it actually was. I do not fancy everyone here knowing my mom was an addict that got arrested. It is more of a personal thing. Who would have known George has at least some basic level of consideration?

"Wait you got your memories back?! You didn't think to mention that?" Daesung exclaims springing up from the bed he was sitting on in surprise. To say he was shocked would be an understatement in this case.

In an effort to avoid the incoming argument I open up the locker beside the bed I was assigned. It possesses some basic clothes and a shelf containing the necessary toiletries.

"Yeah, I mean I didn't really remember anything that important, and I didn't want to risk getting my memories re wiped thank you very much," George responds with a  hint of annoyance in his voice.

"What so you are the only one of us to remember anything just thought it was no big deal? Seriously?" Daesung blurbs out in an equally annoyed tone.

"Come on let's not argue about this." Gemma pleads only to be completely ignored by just about everyone.

Ellie steps in when Daesung takes a few steps towards George, "Quit having a go at George, he's not the only one. I remember things too, not much, just fragments."

Daesung raises his eyebrows in surprise and looks around the room  at everyone else, "I don't suppose anyone else remembers anything and decided to just keep it to themselves?"

The sound of metal locker door slamming closed diverts everyone's attention before I interject, "It's none of your business if we remember anything!" I bite my tongue in regret when I realize what I just said.

"We? You too then huh? I lost my life as well so if there's a chance I could remember anything I deserve to know about it. It's not all about you."

A/N: Thank you for reading, and sorry this update was a little slow. I also have not named the chapter yet, but I will do that soon, I just wanted to get the next chapter out instead of you all waiting just because I have not thought of a good name yet.
