Daesung shoves open the gym room doors exposing a large crowd of people filling the room. Walking in, my eyes glance across the flock of mutants shouting and jeering amongst themselves. Their shouts boom loudly throughout my head making me cringe.

"Come on." Daesung grabs my wrist forcing me to follow him as he pushes his way through the crowd of people.

A few mutants move out the way revealing what the big deal is about. In the centre of the throng is a small space, two mutants savagely hurling punches at each other.

One of them has tusks coming out of his mouth, looking to be some kind of boar. To say he is huge would be an understatement. He grips the significantly smaller opponent's arm holding him in place. The boar-man slams his mighty fist under the mutant's chin. Releasing his grip he allows his opponent to slump to the ground.

A roar of cheers goes up from the audience piercing my ears.

"Anyone else to challenge Borg?!" the boar-man shouts loudly with pride. He refers to himself in third-person, well that is never a good sign.

'Borg' casts his gaze around the encirclement of people, as if daring them to fight him. Their shouts begin to die down eventually leading to silence, none of them daring to challenge him.

Borg's eyes meet mine, but I do not look away. It probably is not the smartest thing I have done, but I cannot seem to tear my eyes away. His shamrock green eyes thin and his eyebrows furrow together.

"You...I know you. You're that annoying little runt from back at Umbra." He points his finger accusingly.

I remember him, it is hard to forget the person who tries to choke you. That would have been what? My first day in that prison? My jaw clenches and my fingers ball into fists as I try to restrain myself.

Gemma who I had not even noticed before looks me in the eye shaking her head.

"Don't do it." she mouths across to me from the other side of the crowd.

The urge to hit him becomes all too great to handle. Charthrax's influence probably having something to do with it, I have not had any serum in days now.

Running a few steps forward I jump into the air to reach Borg's face slamming my fist into his jaw. He gets knocked to the ground, taken completely aback by the turn of events. The crowd also remains silent, just as shocked as Borg.

Borg growls, quickly getting up to regaining his composure. With a look of anger and determination, he shouts, running towards me at top speed.

Managing to duck under a right hook to the face I fire a punch under his extended arm. As Borg staggers backwards he aims his other arm at me. The massive force of the punch sends me flying into the sea of people.

Gemma's amber eyes peer down at me. Disregarding her exasperated expression I scramble to my feet charging towards Borg once again. He sidesteps, avoiding me entirely. Now being behind him I take the opportunity to get him into a headlock. I jump up onto his back, wrapping my arm around his neck. I hold onto that arm with the other securing his head, straining to hold it in place.

He uses his superior strength to his advantage, grabbing a fistful of my shirt and flipping me over his head, forcing me to release my hold on his head.

My hole body aches in agony as I lay limp on the floor. A hand grasps onto the back of my shoulder thrusting me up off the ground. Borg's hand clutches around my neck, the other resting on my head, cutting my air supply off.

"Another mess you've gotten us into I see." The voice in my head complains, making his presence known.

Blood rushes to my head, my heart rate quickening with each passing second. My hands shoot up and try to pry Borg's arm off me only for him to strengthen his hold. My legs begin to thrash wildly, eventually stomping on my opponent's foot. Borg lets out a grunt reinforcing his grasp. Everything I see begins to haze together making it difficult to see. The voices muffle together and become completely distorted. The vision that was clear only moments ago darkens.

"That's enough! Training's over for today." A voice shouts from somewhere around me. Immediately the arm around my neck disappears, leaving me to crumble to the ground. Relief floods throughout me, air filling my lungs once again. Heaving and spluttering I manage to get on my knees. I use one hand to support my body and the other to hold my neck as I gasp for air. The pressure in my head begins to fade away allowing my vision to come into focus.

I hear the sound of various sets of footsteps approaching. Looking up I see none other than Ashley, Rilo's sister. She leans down beside me, baring a troubled expression of her face. Gemma, Ellie, and Daesung too stand beside me all seeming quite concerned.

Blood again rushes to my face, not from lack of air, but from embarrassment. I had just got the life beat out of me in front of my only friends, and everyone for that matter.

"Are you okay?" Ashley asks alarmingly.

"Great." I manage to rasp out sarcastically, a hoarse cough leaving my throat shortly after.

"Clearly not," Gemma's concern quickly changes to that of anger.

"I see you haven't lost your sense of humour," Daesung remarks.

Gemma turns on her heel stomping over to Borg, who is exiting the room along with the other mutants. My eyes widen when she taps on his shoulder.

"What the hell?!" she shrieks.

Though feeling slightly worried I cannot help but crack a grin at seeing someone of Gemma's height and build stand up to someone at least twice her size.

The huge boar-like man turns to the girl giving her a smirk, "What? It's just training."

"Just training?! You didn't have to actually strangle the guy!" she yells with such venom even I feel a little afraid of her, which is saying a lot since it is...well it is Gemma. Gemma is not exactly a scary person, at least not until now.

Beating her broad wings a few times Gemma flies up into the air until she is at Borg's level. She shoves her foot into his face with a great force. My mouth hangs agape, seeing him stagger backwards clutching onto his bloodied nose.

Gasps of shock and silenced whispers echo throughout the room, lingering for some time.

"Did she just-" Daesung stutters out.

"Yeah, she did." Ellie nods in astoundment.

"Oh, I like her." Charthrax remarks inside my head.

"Not you again..."
