The Fly Away Girl

Chapter 1

"Hey Kayla!" My best friend Stephanie greeted me, making a goofy face at me when she saw how much stuff i brought to the sleepover.

I made sure to bring my sleeping bag and all my girl stuff, Teen pop magizines so we could take the crazy halarious quizzes in the back of the magizines, an entire bag of candy and snacks so we wouldn't get hungry at night. And last, but not least, all my electronics. Which included my IPhone, iPad, and Mac book. I can't say that I'm not apple crazy, but that would be lying, so yeah, I'm a bit obsessed with apple because its so easy to use and super addicting because of all the games you can get on them.

"Hiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!" I replied crazily, almost tripping over her doorstep as I ran into her house. I was so excited for the sleepover, and now it was finally here! It was going to be the best sleepover ever.

Steph, which was her nickname that I've called her ever since 1st grade, started to show me to the basement, which I really didn't need directions because I've been to her house about a million times. I started telling her all my ideas about what we should do during the sleepover.

"First we should watch a movie, I brought the Hunger Games, The Fault in our Stars, and the entire Harry Potter series." Lets just say that we were that biggest fan girls that you've ever known.

"Then we should quiz each other with the Teen pop magazines that I brought! Also, I really want to do the makeup challenge, it where we blindfold each other and do eachother a makeup! It's going to be the bestest sleepover ever!!"

"Hold up guurl!" Steph interjected while snapping her fingers in a "Z" formation. "First off, bestest is not a word and second, you think that with all these ideas that you want to do, we will have time to eat food? Cause you know me, I need my food and midnight snack that consists of 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream piled high with skittles!"

"hahaha, I know you so well that I made sure to pack extra food so while we are doing all our fun stuff, you won't have to worry about being hungry." I assured her while getting out all the movies that I brought.

"So anyways, what movie do you want to watch? I kinda want to see The Fault in our Stars because it's my favorite movie of all times!" I screamed, hopping that her parents didn't hear me. Let's just say that sometimes I do things without thinking, it's just me and I can't change it, even if I want to because words always just tumble out of my mouth without my permission.

"Okay, okay, so I guess were going to watch The fault in our Stars! I'll go get the popcorn while you set up the movie." Exclaimed Steph as she started up the stairs to get the popcorn, I'm glad that she didn't make me go get the popcorn cause I would have been too lazy to go all the way up the stairs and into the kitchen.
"Lets get this party started!!!" I cheered as I put the disk into the tv and clicked the start button.

Hi!!!!! Okay i'm sooooo excited that I finished writing the first chapter! Im on a roll here, usally it takes me FOREVER to start the first chapter!!!
And yup, alot and I mean ALOT of spelling errors, sowwry!!!!!!!! >_<
