The Fly Away Girl

Chapter 3

"Gues what time it is!?" I yelled, spilling the popcorn in the process.

"Just great, you spilled the popcorn, you have to go clean it up before we start anything else! And by the way, it's 9:00 if you were wondering." Steph said, frowning at the mess on the carpet.

"Fine!" I'll go upstairs and find the broom." I complained as I dragged my feet up the stairs and into the kitchen.

Now where is that dang broom anyways? I thought it was under the sink, that's where it was the last time I was here. I thought as I opened up each cabinet door, desperately searching for the broom.

"Where is the stupid broom!?" I yelled to Steph from above the stairs.

"It's where it always is, underneath the kitchen sink!" Steph yelled back to me from the basement.

I checked underneath the sink for the second time, and guess what appeared? Yup, the freaking broom.

"I know for a fact that it wasn't there the last time I checked." I muttered to myself as I pulled out the broom and went back downstairs.

After I cleaned up the popcorn catastrophe, I took out the Teen Pop magizines flipping to the back of it, looking for the quizes.

"Here, I found the quizzes, I want to do 'The Perfect Room' quiz! I'll quiz you first, then you can quiz me." I said while giving her the magazine.

"Okay, first question; what's your favorite color? pink, white, green, or blue?" I asked, reading off the list of colors.

"Um, green." Steph answered

"What's your favorite decoration? Lights, colorful posters, your own personal drawings or crafts?

"Lights, but only blue lights cause they make my room look like it's under the sea."

"What's your style? Hipster, Rock, modern, or gamer? I questioned, already knowing what she was going to say.

"Obviously hipster cause I'm a tumbler obsessor!" Steph added, while flicking her hair over her shoulder in a mock popular girl gesture.

"Hahaha that's what I thought you would say. Anyways, last question, what's your favorite subject in school? Math, science, english, drama/arts, or history?"

"Well duh! Drama, because I'm always the star of the show!" In a fake British accent, which didn't sound like it at all....

"The results are in! Youre bream bedroom would be located in Paris. It would be overlooking the Effile Tower, your room will be a nature green color with lights lining your bed frame and window." I announce in a fake Simon Cowell voice.

"Hahaha wow, most of this is already what my room excatly looks like, except the Paris part, unless you count a poster of it?" Steph asked while grabbing another magazine from the pile.

"My turn to quiz you now!" Steph said, while flipping through it to find a good quiz.

Hey! Some of my friends also wrote books on Wattpad, I can't tell you how AMAZING they are!! WAY better than mine anyways. Please read them if you get a chance,
