Personality: Dohyun is very kind and caring of those around him. He tends to be the dad-type of the group, and is quite responsible and sweet. He tries to stay calm during any situation, although he has a tendency to overthink things. He is rather hard-working, and hates disappointing others. He's also a bit of a perfectionist, especially when it comes to his own work. He's selfless, and helps those around him as much as he can. He dislikes seeing others sad or upset, and will try to comfort them. He is rather humble, and prefers not to take credit for helping others. He tries to look out for those around him as best he can, even if he has just met them. He may be rich, but he doesn't flaunt his money. He's more than happy to treat his friends, though. He is polite, and tries not to offend others. He gets embarrassed rather easily, but his temper is typically very calm.

Reasons for joining XY Entertainment: He's always loved music, but he realized he wanted to be an idol after a friend had convinced him to go to a popular idol group's concert. He joined XY Entertainment because they were the first entertainment company that got back to him about the results of his audition. He also joined XY Entertainment because out of the companies he'd auditioned to, XY Entertainment was the farthest from his parents' home. He loved his family, but he wanted to go to a company where his parents weren't well-known. He wanted to achieve his dream because of his own talents and hard work, not his family's money or reputation.

Backstory: Dohyun was born in Anyang, South Korea. He grew up in a rich household. He has three younger siblings. His parents were very busy with their jobs, so he often took care of his siblings. He's always loved music. Ever since he was little, he'd always known he wanted to do something in music. He would often write his own songs, and perform them in school variety shows. He would also write songs for his school's fine arts program sometimes. He listened to a lot of different music, but he was most drawn to rap. So, he learned and taught himself how to rap. By the time he was eighteen, he'd completely figured out his own style and had written a good amount of songs, although he hadn't joined a company at that point. He participated in a few rapping competitions, and although he didn't win, he always landed in the top five. He tried not to let it get him too down. After all, top five was great, even if it wasn't first. A few months later, he auditioned for a few companies, the first one being XY Entertainment.

Other: He tends to stay up late into the night practicing, especially when it gets closer to their performances. In the back of his mind, he knows it's unhealthy, but he's afraid he'll mess up in front of all their fans. He doesn't want to disappoint them.
