Preferred name: Aradia, but she doesn't mind Lanza if called by a close friend, or someone who knows her from childhood. She's fine with friends calling her by nicknames. She'll often use aliases when stealing, or when she just doesn't want to use her real name.

Personality: Lanza is charming, finding it easy to meet new people should she wish to. She is fairly friendly, but somewhat particular about choosing those she spends time openly with - or as openly as a master thief can get. She is smooth, as well, and uses both her quick wits and confident charm to gather information, or to distract her victims. Despite being labeled a 'villain', she does have a moral compass. She especially has a soft spot for kids. She is impulsive, often the type to act first, face the consequences later. She follows the motto of "make a plan but don't be afraid, and take risks". She is a good strategist, but she is resourceful enough to usually get away with winging it if she can't follow it for any reason. She says she's a sucker for a pretty face - and she is, but to an extent. She has a tendency of getting into flings, or less serious relationships, and ending it once she gets bored or when the relationship isn't beneficial to her. She knows that if she gets into a serious relationship, she'll open up a can of worms she'd like to avoid. Firstly, since she rarely tells her flings or temporary romantic partners her real identity and name, instead using an alias. That'd be a shock to anyone, to find their partner isn't the person they thought they were. And if they weren't running away by then, just knowing who she was put a target on their back and dragged them into her world. And honestly? To her, secrets had kept her safe. And in each new place and relationship, she could be whoever she wished; wear whatever mask she wanted. She is persistent - once she knows what she wants, she'll put all her effort into getting it. She can be a bit cocky, though, and it can get her into some tricky situations. She's witty, as well as mostly good-natured. She has her bitter moments, but she tries not to get stuck in a loop of it. She's the type to welcome any sort of thrill with a devilish grin.

Backstory: Her best friend growing up had loved magic tricks, and while she'd taught Lanza how to do some, she hadn't been particularly talented at it. Lanza, though, had a natural talent for it. Still, it wasn't easy; just more so than it would be for most people. With this discovery, Lanza learned more magic tricks to make her friend smile. One day, her friend revealed that she had a fatal illness that had been caught too late, thus giving her only a few months left to live. So, Lanza learned more magic tricks, each more fantastical than the last. By now, she'd become skilled enough to start creating her own tricks. It was then that she had an idea: she would steal a breathtaking gem from the wealthiest person in town to show to her friend, weaving fantastical tales with some truth in them. She would then show the gem to her friend as proof. Of course, her friend had made her promise to return everything she stole. Once she was finished with her story and had parted ways with her friend, she'd return the gem to its owner. After her friend's death, she continued stealing beautiful gemstones, but did plenty of research into them beforehand. If the gem's proper owner was not the person she'd stolen it from, she'd find a way to return it to its rightful place. Back in her tiny little hometown, she'd been a nobody; just a plain little girl who'd had big dreams. This was her chance, she realized, to make her mark on the world. She could live out her wildest dreams.
