Colors... I've always wondered what they are and what they look like. My whole world has always been monotone since the day I was born. My friends have already met their soulmates and when we talk about the colors they won't stop describing each and every thing that they see around them. Colors must be that beautiful huh? I wish I can meet my soulmate soon so I can also appreciate the beauty of colors. 

Right now it's lunch time and I'm just hanging around the hallway, looking through the window and watching a senpai practice volleyball outside the gym, he just finished eating 3 popsicles. I noticed how much he loves popsicles since he eats it everyday. 

He's very good at receiving and I've always admired how he reacts whenever he receives the ball and yell "Rolling Thunder", it's very cute. There were also times where I caught him hanging his head in frustration whenever he misses, it must be pressuring to be a libero.

"What's up, (your name)? Watching Nishinoya-san again?" (Best friend's name) asked.

I looked beside me as she joined me in watching him receive, I just gave her a nod with a sigh.

"You've been doing this for quite a while now, I think you should introduce yourself so you can at least be close with him a little, maybe you can be close friends. He would appreciate you since you are very supportive." She said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"B-but... I'm not worthy to be Nishinoya-senpai's "friend". I'm way out of his league and I'm 100% certain that he's dating or crushing on someone who's way prettier than me. He wouldn't like a potato like me." I said with a sad tone.

"Don't look down on yourself! I'm sure he will be open to you." She said with an assuring smile. 

I am a big fan of Nishinoya Yuu, Karasuno's Guardian Deity. I admit, I kinda have a crush on him but I'm pretty sure that he will never notice me because I'm a first year student. I've been a big fan of volleyball since middle school. Ever since I saw Nishinoya-senpai practicing from afar, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. 

Whenever I pass by the gym, I always take a short glimpse through the window just to see him and whenever they have an official match I always make sure to attend on time just so I can support them from the distance.

He doesn't know me, and I don't think he will ever want to know some simple potato like me, he deserves so much better.  

Suddenly, the school bell rang signaling the resumption of classes. I take one last look at him (he's smiling, damn) and then I went back to class.

My best friend in the other section returned my books since she won't be needing them anymore so it means extra load for me. I hate it whenever this happens, it's very heavy and I always have a hard time walking home. I don't even walk home with anyone!

We were already dismissed and I was passing by the school gym again to take a peak but to my surprise, Nishinoya-senpai was not there. I guess I'll see him tomorrow then.

I was not aware of what was in front of me since I was looking somewhere else when I suddenly stumbled, fell, and dropped my books. Dammit! 

I picked up the fallen stuff and then I saw a hand picking up my other stuff and then I stood up and looked at the person... It was the person who I least expected it to be.

IT WAS NISHINOYA-SENPAI! OH GOSH, I CAN FEEL MY FACE HEATING UP. HE ALSO HAD A GRIN ON HIS FACE, WHYYYY IS HE SO CUTE?!

I can't believe it, he's right in front of me and he helped me with my stuff. Did the gods just answered my prayers???

Other than that, my vision was getting weird. The monotone color was... fading?? It was slowly getting replaced with... colors? I'm amazed with what I'm seeing right now! COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL!

But wait, since it's only Nishinoya-senpai here then that means... oh my gosh. HE IS MY SOULMATE! Talk about luck luck luck. I can't believe this!

He suddenly tackled me to the ground with a tight hug. 

"It's you! You're the one! I have a very cute soulmateeeeeeee!" He said in a very loud voice, tightening his hug.

I can feel my face getting warmer every second and I slowly returned the hug. I can't believe it, out of all the people in the world... My crush, my senpai, my idol is my soulmate! 

He pulled out of the hug to take a good look at my face, I can still feel myself blushing and he just laughed.

"So cute." He said, pinching my cheeks, I just gave him a small smile and he squealed. 

"Hi soulmate, I'm Nishinoya Yuu! Your one and only guardian, I promise I will protect and take care of you. Please call me Yuu." He said with a big smile, I couldn't help but giggle.

"(last name) (first name). Please take very good care of me!" I said, and with that he hugged me again.

"Come on! I'll introduce you to my teammates!" He happily said as he pulled me along with him to the gym. 

Who knew that having Nishinoya Yuu as your soulmate can be so heartwarming? He's so sweet and he's very lively!

---EPILOGUE---

After Yuu introduced me to his teammates, Tanaka-san was in tears as he looked at us in jealousy, while the rest were happy about us. The other first years were asking me random questions, while Tanaka-san was on his knees...

"This is not fair! Noya-san gets to meet his soulmate first and she's actually cute. I LOST THE BET DAMMIT! Whyyyy??!!" Tanaka-san said, clenching his fists. Yuu laughed at him and stuck his tongue out.

"Free popsicles for me and (first name) for the whole month starting tomorrow! YEEEEY! Ryuu, you better stick to your word. We both had an agreement!" Yuu said in victory. 

And with that, everyone in the gym just laughed at Tanaka-san and we were always treated with popsicle everyday for a month. I'm very lucky to be with Yuu!
