rip to my social life
also i spent days rewriting this chapter cuz i didnt like anything that fit...sorry if it sucks-
The king's mask was already on the second he appeared in front of us.
To be fair, it was not a literal mask. Just a stoic but demeaning expression that had guest kneeling the moment his breath entered through the door. But for us, there was no room breathe, no second to think...the tension in the room was filled with one thing:
Respect.
I hadn't realized I was the only person still standing, my kneels immediately buckling as they collapsed straight onto the floor in a haste.
I landed with a thick thump that spread a wildfire of murmurs but was silenced solely on the king clearing his throat. Slowly but surely, heads began lifting, but not bodies, the guest's eyes trained on the figure standing on stage.
He was the there.
King Park in the flesh.
No articles, paper magazines, or pictures could even describe visually what was in front of me. The news seem to miss all the points. This man was truly a god, he had to be.
No one could have been that lucky or even come close to looking like him, he was a truly magnificent sight, something you would have to see in person to fully fathom entirely. His tailored suit flexed while his movements as he stepped further into the light.
Bright blonde hair styled to perfection covered his heavy, brown eyes, his milky skin clear and vibrant. His cheeks were defined strongly just as his sharp jawline which could probably cut ions of trees down.
A small, cute nose sat in the middle of his face, his lips a shining pink almost like a hint of his eyeshadow. A black tailored suit with red embroidery followed down to his biceps while black suit pants strained tightly on his thighs.
Not to forget his hands which happened to also be small but filled with dazzling fingers that burned bright in the light. His golden crown sat snugly on the top his head which completed the look of making him look even more ethereal than before.
God, I needed a glass of wine.
Maybe two.
I brought hand to my face, attempting to hide my flustered appearance but a woman nudged her shoulder to mine, forcing me to look at her.
