Tails: As I stare through the
transparent window into
the cold, fruitless night, I
couldn't help but think 'bout
Cosmo. Curse that Metorex!
Sonic should have been
more faster to save you!
All I have is the little seed to
remind me of you.
(Door slowly creaks open and animal-like footsteps disturb the sullen silence)
Tails: And here comes my colleague, Hedgehog Sparks. She and I have become a great duo since we met, y'know. We have several things in common, but the only things (that I believe) she has in common with Sonic are her speed and her nocturnal transformation. Tonight was one of those nights that she looked different.
Hedgehog: Hey, Tails. What are you up to tonight?
Tails: Oh, nothing much. Just thinking about Cosmo. That's all.
Hedgehog: (growls)But it's been 3 years since you told me that. Get over it.
Hedgehog: 3 years ago, Cosmo died during a mission. This upset Tails ever since. I'm getting kinda annoyed that he talks about her every day, not that I have a crush on him or anything, but its like I'm looking at the fox version of Shadow.
Tails: Okay, okay, I get that you are a little bit annoyed, but all I have is the pot plant on my desk to remind me of her.
Hedgehog: Uh... what pot plant, Tails?
(Tails turns around, faces his desk, but suddenly gasps. The plant was not on his desk. It's gone!)
Tails: Huh, where'd it go. Where is it?
Hedgehog: (sarcastically) It's pretty obvious that it's not there. But, still, I've seen it before. It must mean a lot to you.
Tails: It really does. (sigh) You really get me.
(3 beeps from Tails' wrist communicator cuts the mood. It's from the commander!)
Tails: Commander, what have you got for us.
Commander: Amateur Sleuth Sparks, Detective Prower, rumors have it that a certain friend of yours has been resurrected and is planning to rob the city, 1 building at a time. We need you to start investigating ASAP!
Hedgehog: No worries, Commander. Detective Prower and I are on the case.
Commander: Thank you so much. Over and out!
Tails: I bet you that someone, whoever it was, turned Cosmo to the Dark Side.
Hedgehog: That someone must have been very jealous of her, and did this to make Cosmo the big bad.
Tails: Hedgehog might be right. Maybe someone might be jealous of Cosmo. And if so, who?
(Tails gets up from his desk and walks to the door.)
Hedgehog: Hey, where are you going, Tails?
Tails: We're going to Amy's. Maybe she can give us some answers.
Hedgehog: Or maybe, she has an alabi.
