(Sonic, Hedgehog, Tails and Shadow took all day to interrogate, warn and calm everyone down in the village. As they were walking to the beach house, Hedgehog noticed that Tails was feeling quite glum.)
Hedgehog: Hey, Tails. You seem upset. What's up?
Tails: Wha, what? Me? Upset? Nah, I'm good. I'm fine, Hedgehog. I'm...
Sonic: Tails, you're obviously not fine.
Hedgehog: Sonic's right, y'know. Don't worry, though. We'll find whoever did this and save Cosmo.
Sonic: (Kneels down in front of Tails) And we'll help, too. (Faces Shadow) Ain't that right, faker.
Shadow: Hmph, whatever. But only because I care that much to save her.
Hedgehog: Aww, Shadow's a big softie. That's cute. (Laughs)
Shadow: You dare call the Ultimate Life Form CUTE?!
Hedgehog: I'm just joking, dude! What you're doing to help us is ultimate.
Shadow: Hmm, that's more like it. (Smirks sadistically, as if he knew what she was going to say next)
Hedgehog: Ultimately cute!
Shadow: I knew it!
(Shadow starts playfully chasing Hedgehog around, and they both end up laughing at they're silly little hijinks.)
Tails: Uh, if you're done playing around, can we please get back to the investigation.
Hedgehog: Of course, my bad. (Giggles)
17:49, Sonic's beach house
( As soon as they entered the traditional beach house, everyone is instantly bombarded by Susie's sudden arrival. She takes her wand out of her pocket and starts barricading all the doors and windows.)
Susie: You dare interfere with the return of the Chosen One, forebringer of death and destruction?
Hedgehog: Susie, what are you doing?
Sonic: And what's up with your eyes?
Susie: For getting in the way of the world's fate, you shall perish.
Shadow: Not on my watch! (Reveals a Chaos Emerald in his hand) Chaos Control!
(As Shadow induced a Chaos Control, Tails flew towards Susie. He noticed that her eyes were glowing amber.)
Tails: Huh, amber eyes?
Hedgehog: Amber eyes? (Gasps, then whips out her wand) I've got this. Neutronious Dispellium!
(Susie's amber eyes changed back to her ocean blue eyes. She was back to her normal self.)
Susie: (groans) What happened? Is everyone okay? What's going on?
Hedgehog: You were under a mind control spell.
Sonic, Shadow and Tails:( in unison) Mind control?
Hedgehog: Am I the only one who has a master's understanding of magic around here? (Sigh) Never mind. Susie, do you remember anything that happened before being hexed?
Susie: Well, after you left, I decided to take a walk around the village, then I went to Meh Burger to get breakfast and lunch for you guys. After dropping the food off, I went outside again. Then, someone in a hooded cloak fell from above, grabbed me and put my to sleep. I had an awful nightmare that I was barricading all the doors and windows, and was about to kill you when a bright light forced me to wake up.
Shadow: I'm afraid that's not a nightmare.
Susie: Oh my gosh, I am so sorry.
Tails: No problem, what matters is that you're back with us again. So, how do we get out of here?
Susie: It's a good thing that I used telekinesis, 'cause we need brute strength to break through these barricades.
Hedgehog: Speak for yourself. The Sun is going down.
Sonic: Of course! (Grabs Hedgehog by the hand) You're a genius. (Hedgehog smiles and slightly blushes.)
Hedgehog: I didn't say anything, but I'll gladly accept full credit.
(As everyone watches
the Sun disappear, the Moon slowly rise and the village lights complementing the stars above, Sonic and Hedgehog started to change. Their fur darkens, their claws escape their hands, their teeth turn into sharp fangs and as soon as the transformation was complete, they gave a tormented howl that could be heard from across the beach.)
Susie: I love you both, but yeesh, that was loud.
(Sonic and Hedgehog look at each other and shrug.)
Hedgehog: Time to blast through these barricades!
(Both werehogs start punching through the material blocking the doors and windows. In a matter of time, all entrances were barricade free.)
Sonic: Now that's a workout I'll never forget.
Tails: Sonic, that was super cheesey, why did you do that? (Sonic shrugs) Susie, take us to the place where you were nabbed.
Susie: Sure. Follow me!
(Everyone runs out of the beach house to where Susie was kidnapped.)
