Hedgehog: Ah, Amy Rose. The only female hedgehog I know as a friend. Very talented with her hammer, as well as a convincing psychic. I wonder why she doesn't use her tarot cards to predict her future with Sonic. Maybe Silver has a basic idea of my future husband. And apparently, Sonic likes me as much as he liked Amy.
Tails: We're here. (Turns to face Hedgehog) I've heard that Amy has 2 roommates living with her.
Hedgehog: That's cool. (Knocks on the door)
Amy: Come in!
(Tails and Hedgehog enter the bright and cheerful house. Amy welcomes the detectives with open arms.)
Amy: Detectives, what brings you to my abode?
Rouge: (in the distance) Amy, is anyone there? And at this late at night, too. ( Yawns as she enters the scene. Amy sighs.)
Amy: Oh, Rouge. I want to laugh, but I fear as if I'll wake up a very cranky Sticks.
Tails: It's just us.
Rouge: Whatever this is, for me, it can wait till morning. I've gotta get my beauty sleep.(walks back to her room)
Amy: Well, then, good night. (Door slams shut. Amy sighs again, then focuses back on Tails and Hedgehog.) So, what did you want to talk about?
Tails: We have heard that a certain friend of ours has come back from the dead and is trying to terrorise us all.
Amy: Well, that's not good.
Hedgehog: Not good, indeed. This may sound crazy, but earlier tonight, Tails' pot plant went missing, and now...
Amy: Did you say "pot plant"?
Hedgehog: Yes. Why?
Amy: That plant was the essence of Cosmo. After the Metorex killed her, Sonic saved a part of her. That was the pot plant you're mentioning of.
Hedgehog: (gasps) I thought that it's was a gift she gave you before... y'know. I never realized that it was your friend. I'm so sorry, Tails.
Tails: It's okay, Hedgehog. Now that you know the whole story, we can carry on with the investigation.
(Sudden hints of talk and laughter could be heard from Rouge's room. Another door opens, and a very cranky Sticks storms into the scene.)
Sticks: Amy, this is the fourth time this month that Rouge is making a noise whilst I'm asleep. Please, please, please tell Rouge to shut up!
Hedgehog: Wow... Amy was right. She can get very aggravating. I'll definitely not mess with her.
Tails: Hedgehog, are you okay?
Hedgehog: Yes, yes. Shall we get on with this investigation, partner?
Amy: Uh...
Tails: Don't...even...ask. (clears throat) So you're saying that someone has an axe to grind with Cosmo? I guess we should start interrogating.
Hedgehog: And Rouge would be a good person to start with.
