Jimin's request was simple: one last annual stay at their shared summer cabin. One last night of carefree, fun with his best buds. He didn't intend for this to be their last night... ever.

Last Time on Last (Quick Recap):
"And the dark angel said to them, 'do not be afraid for I bring you good news'." The reverend slaps the podium in excitement. "'Today, in the city of the portside, a great gift has been bestowed upon you. The reincarnation of our Dark Lord, The Chosen One, has been born.' The shepherds arrived to glorify and praise our creator for all the things they had heard and seen."
Wooyoung and I arrive at the front. I head to stand by Jaehyun but Wooyoung grabs onto my shoulders.
—Scene Change—
"Speak," Wooyoung whispers.
"Me?"
The congregation gasps.
"The Chosen One speaks!" Someone shrieks.
"Do not interrupt The Chosen One!" Someone else shouts.
Wait. Me? I am The Chosen One? This can't be real. I look around the room. I have to get out of here but how? The aisles are blocked by the many bodies bowing to me.
—Scene Change—
I motion for Ryujin to follow Jaehyun and I. She's hesitant at first but does as told. We silently make our way down the aisle, into the main hall, and to the door. We do our best to open the door with as less noise as possible.
"What's the plan?" Jaehyun asks once we're outside.
"Run."

Ryujin and Jaehyun still.
"Act like you're using the Joestar family technique and run!" I whisper yell at them. Yes, I used a Jojo's Bizarre Adventures reference. Jinyoung used to read that manga to me and my parents. It was like our family story time. When I find my parents I hope we can enjoy it together again.
I grab Ryujin by the arm and pull her along. Jaehyun follows not too far behind us. There's some trees behind the building. There's also a car coming down the road.
Should we flag down this car for help? The car can get us furthest away from here. However, we're risking stranger danger.
