So now that we all know the facts of life and all. Time for the next rule, Rule #10: Tell the Truth. So I know before we got to this point it seemed like I descended into a downward spiral of lies and deceit. BUT we can fix this!
I mean it's already better now!Next Monday at school I turn from my locker to search for Keeva just as she pops up next to me. "Dude!" She gives me a weird look, "yes?" I laugh, "Oh, I wanted to talk to you and I was just about to look for you but you're here now!"
She laughs, "I am indeed, what can I do for you?"
I blush wondering how you tell your best friend that you're crushing on the new girl, "sooooooo...""So, you like someone, and I'm guessing it's Anya cause she's the only other person you talk to,"
I open my mouth offended and going to defend myself.
"Don't, we both know you hardly talk to anyone."
I sigh in defeat, "Doesn't mean I like hearing how reclusive I can be." I pout."Aww Poor little birdy!" Keeva wraps me in a bear hug.
I sigh again, loud and dramatic, "fiiiine you're forgiven.""And don't think I'm distracted from the fact that you basically admitted I'm right." Keeva grins at me
I draw in a breath ready to retaliate when Anya bounds up to us. "Ready for class?" She asks all smiles and innocence.
I blush as Keeva's grin intensifies into something rather more frightening than happy.
"Aren't I always?" I reply in a tone I Hope sounds neutral. Going off of Keeva's smirk I did not hit the mark.Uuuuugggghhhh
well at least Keeva knows now.
