"MOMMY!! MOMMY!!! WAKE UP ITS CHRISTMAS!!" You feel a disturbance jumping on both sides of the bed. You squeeze Michael lightly but realize that it isn't Michael but a pillow. You pout but it is quickly replaced with a smile by the sight of your little 5 year old twins.
"Merry Christmas Millee. Merry Christmas Mason." you smile and hug them both tightly.
"Merry Christmas Mommy!" They say and giggle at their unison.
"So do you guys wanna eat first or open presents?"
"OPEN PRESENTS!!!" They scream. You laugh at their cuteness. You carry Millee and hold Masons hand as you walk down stairs. You could see your enormous tree from the second floor, fully loaded with gifts. You set Millee down and they immediately run to the tree, ripping open the first presents they sight.
"Mommy look! A Barbie doll from Uncwe Wukey!" Millee shows me.
"Its beautiful baby." You smile.
"Uncwe Caw gave me a monsto twuck!" Mason pipes up. You smile.
"Mommy this one has your letter on it." Millee points to a little box under the tree. She couldn't very much read so that's why you had separated all of the gifts for them. But this one seemed to be in between and Millee was smart enough to know that it was neither hers nor her brothers.
"Really?" You crinkle your eyebrows. You had already opened all the presents the boys had given you before they left.
You walk over to Millee and kneel down next to her, ripping off the small amount of wrapping paper on the box.
You opened it up, revealing a silver locket with a rose. Engraved on it were the words 'I Love You'. Your heart sunk as you held the little tiny box to your chest.
"Oh Mikey. I wish you were here right now." you mumble.
"But I am."
"Huh?" You look up and look at the reflection in the tree bulb.
"M-Michael?! MICHAEL!!" You jump up and run towards him. He waits for you with loving arm and immediately has a tight grip around you."We've missed you so much!!"
"So did I princess." he whispers pushing you off a bit to kiss your lips.
"How on earth did you even get here!?"
"They let us come home for the holidays and I decided I would surprise you."
"I-I just can't believe your here." you squeeze him tighter. Mason and Millee run to his side screaming. For some reason they weren't too excited.
"Wait. Were you two in on this?" You smile and you and Michael kneel down to their height. They nodded, all giggly.
"Best little helpers in the world." Michael chuckles. He hugs the three of you.
"I love You."
