Part Six: Erik Lehnsherr
1962.
Emma Frost's POV
As the coast guard drew nearer, I could sense that there were other telepaths on the boat. There was one powerful mutant on there, she just didn't know it.
"They have a telepath. Two of them, one possesses powerful abilities" I informed Sebastian as I began to use my powers to stop the telepaths.
Svet's POV
I yelled out in anguish as the other telepath on Shaw's ship got into both mine and Charles' heads. Charles' two fingers remained on his temple as he tried to reestablish the telepathic connection.
"I've lost Shaw. I've lo-- I've lost Shaw. Th-There's something blocking me. This has never happened to me before. I think there's someone like me on that ship" Charles stammered.
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock!" I snapped back, my head in my hands as the pain withered and my eyes flashed the deadly white.
"Like you?" Moira questioned.
" Uh, I'm sorry, a telepath. This is incredible. I could actually feel her inside my head. I'm very sorry, but I don't think I'm gonna be much help to you tonight. you're on your own". Charles rambled, as I placed a hand on his shoulder for reassurance.
"Oh, my God" Charles gasped. "Jesus" I heard Moira mumble.
"Fucking hell" I swore out loud as one of the mutants on the opposing ship used his mutation to send two water vortexes onto the body of water, ravaging the boats of coast guard staff.
"Get inside!" Levene ordered as Charles, Moira and I scurried into the ship.
"Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop" Charles began to mumble, placing two fingers on his temple.
"Charles? Are you okay?" I panted, out of breath.
" There's someone else out there" Charles replied as we walked back out onto the the deck and he pointed to the anchor floating in the air " There!".
Well that's not something you see everyday.
The anchor began to ravage and destroy Shaw's ship as Levene, Moira, Charles and I watched in awe and shock. This person, whoever they were, was a mutant. Like Charles, Raven and I.
"Let go! You have to let it go! You got to help him. You got to put someone in the water to help him" Charles screamed to the man in the water.
"Let it go! You have to let it go!" I yelled to him, but he ignored our protests.
The man was struggling in the water, or well under the water.
Charles ran and I followed him, to an exit to the boat. Suddenly, Charles jumped in, as I looked astonished. My body paralyzed and frozen. What should I do? Should I jump in and help Charles
" Love, stay there. I've got this " Charles' voice echoed in my head.
Suddenly, Charles and the man emerged from the water, fighting. Men, didn't understand them. I still down.
"We're here!" Charles yelled. "Uh, yeah. I can see that, genius!" I yell in response, tossing a life buoyancy down to them.
