Chapter 9

~🌻Y/n's Pov🌻~

The past couple of days have been quite peaceful, other than Miles blowing up my phone. I haven't spoken to him since that day. I hear my phone vibrating indicating I got a call. I rolled my eyes thinking it was Miles but I still looked. Good thing I didnt ignore it, it was Peter.

"Hello," I say answering the phone.

"Y/n! I need you to come over. The goober is finally fixed?"

"Ok, I'm on my way" I say hanging up the phone getting ready.

~🌻Time Skip🌻~

I got to Aunt Mae's and met up with everybody. We started talking for awhile when somebody burst through the door. I look over to see Miles out of breath.
"M-my uncle! He's.." he tried to explain what was happening but couldnt get it out.
"Were you followed?" Peter asks Miles.
"I-I dont know..I dont think so." As soon as he finished his sentence all of out spider senses went off and doc-oc burst through the front door while scorpion and tombstone came from the back.
"You need to get out of here kid," Peter said to Miles. I got in my fighting stance and Peter turned to me. "You too y/n. Look out for Miles."
"Its too late, I'm staying." Before we could argue any longer everyone started attacking, messing up aunt mae's house. I looked at her and mouthed, "I'll help you fix this." Then continued fighting. I got some good punches in and so did the villains. I was pushed outside and saw Miles hanging above the roof. Then I heard a gunshot go off and a body drop.
"You need to get out of here. NOW." Peter said to Miles and I. I watched as Miles swung off with prowler's body in his hands and I went to follow him.

~🕸Miles' Pov🕸~

I went back to my dorm after my Uncle died in my hands. I threw my sketchbook out my window and turned around. I heard it come back in, along with Peter, and everyone else.
"What are you guys doing?"
"We're here to say goodbye Miles."
"No, I'm going with you. He killed my uncle."
"You're staying here kid." Peter says finally and ties him to his desk chair while everyone walks out except him and y/n. "I'm sorry kid, it's a leap of faith." And with that Peter walked out leaving me and y/n alone. I looked at her with sad eyes and she just stood there with an unreadable face.
"I'm sorry about your Uncle Miles..I get it. If you ever need someone to talk to..I'm here." She left before I could respond.

I sat in my chair thinking of what to do now when I heard a faint knock on my door.
"Hey son..its me." It was my dad.

~🌻Y/n's Pov🌻~

"I'm sorry about your uncle Miles..I get it. If you ever need someone to talk to..I'm here." Before he could reply I left back out the window, then we all swung off heading to finish this mess.

We got to the place and looked inside to see all the waiters dressed as spidermen.
"Get a load of this," Spider noir said pointing the costumes out.
"They're a bunch of pigs." I replied
"I'm right here." Spider-pig said looking at me smugly as I whispered a "sorry' to him.

We got inside and down to the super-collider. We got up to the top and Peter stuck the goober in the slot. As we were about to go our spider senses kicked in and we saw doc-OC come down to stop us. She swung a tentacle at us but it came back hitting her in the face over and over.
"Who's doing that?!" She yelled getting upset. Then Miles became visible still hitting her. More villains were coming out so we all split up to fight. I got Tombstone and he pulled out 2 guns I shot a web at them taking them away.
"Nope, no weapons." I web him again this time on his chest electrocuting him. He instantly got knocked out. "Well. That was easier than I thought." I walked away looking for another villain to fight and saw Penny's robot get destroyed, but she finished her villain along with everyone else. We get back up to where the goober was and start sending people back home. It was just Me, Peter, and Miles left when Kingpin came out of nowhere wanting to fight more.
"Stay here and shut off the Collider."
"No, that wasn't the deal" Miles said back to Peter. All 3 of us swung towards kingpin. I webbed Peter's back making him land on a nearby building.
"Let me go y/n."
"No. You gotta leave..I dont want to watch you get killed again." My voice cracked as I was on the verge of crying.
"You gotta go home man." Miles said looking at Peter.
"I know its a leap of faith." Peter said back. I ran up to him and hugged him before he left.
"Peter..I love you." (Woahh not like that. It's a father daughter type love..no incest.)
"I love you too (nickname)." I felt a tear drop hearing that nickname for the last time. Peter left and it was just Me and Miles vs. Kingpin.
"Give up Kingpin! Its 2 against 1." Miles yelled.
"That's where you're wrong." Kingpin instantly pulled out a gun and shot it before we could web it out of his hand.

Me updating on time? Woww, that's new lol. I'm actually really into this rn and am going to work on the next chapter after this one goes up😜2 updates in 1 day. Hope you enjoyed and stay safe. Sorry not sorry for the cliffhanger.
