Chapter 10

~🌻Y/n's Pov🌻~

Kingpin's gun went off in the blink of an eye. It was pointed towards Miles. However, it felt like I was running towards him in slow motion. I ran faster then I ever have before and pushed him out of the way. As Miles fell I felt a sharp pain hit my abdomen. I look down and see my suit stained with blood. I feel my eyes go wide and teary. I felt a cough coming up and I let it out. More blood coming out of my mouth. I felt my hands start to shake as I saw kingpin put the gun back up. I webbed it and threw it into the collider before he could shoot again. My vision started darkening. I looked at Miles and gave him a small smile before hitting the ground going unconcious.

~🕸Miles' Pov🕸~

Y/n pushed me out of the way getting shot in her abdomen. My eyes were wide as I watched her collapse onto the ground. I felt my eyes start to tear up, but then I became extremely angry. I became invisible and ran up to kingpin punching him all over. He grabbed my neck slamming me into the ground. I saw a train coming and I webbed him and swung him into it, making a hole. I then went into the train. I became invisible again and tried to sneak up on Kingpin, but he caught me and kept slamming me into the train walls. I kicked him out of the train where he landed onto another building. I went to where he was and started walking up to him. He slammed the ground causing a wave of broken glass to come flying at me. I dodged most of it, some pieces cutting me and I ran up with a fist full of venom strike and tried to punch him. He grabbed my fist blocking the attack. He then started to squeeze my fist which got me on my knees. He then lifted his arms up and brought them down on me. I felt weak. I couldnt move a muscle, but I wouldn't let him win.
"Any last words, spider brat?"
"Y-you ever heard of the shoulder touch?"
"The what?-" I put my hand on his shoulder looked away then looked back,
"Hey," I said as I venom shocked him then webbed him swinging him around. I threw him towards the goober. "Hey Kingpin! Hit the button for me!" I yelled as he hit the button making everything start to get sucked in. I web my way over to y/n, grab her, then hang on to the ceiling holding her with all my might. After everything got sucked in then exploded I headed outside. Still holding y/n i went to an ambulance.
"She got shot in her abdomen.." I say as they put her in the back
"Are you her partner?"
"Yes." He let's me get in the back with her while we go to the hospital. When I get there I call my dad telling him I was okay. I quickly hang up when I saw him at the hospital with my mom. I go up and hug him telling him I love him, forgetting I was still in my suit. Afterwards the doctor came for me.
"She's fine. We were able to remove the bullet from her abdomen. She's in there now resting. You can go in."
"Thank you," I say as I went into her room. I hear light snores as I get closer to her bed and sit down in a chair. I take her hand in mine and kiss it gently.
"I'm so sorry y/n.. i should've protected you, but you protected me. Why. You didnt deserve this.."
"because miles," I hear a faint voice say and I look up at y/n to see her awake. "because I love you." I see her eyes start to water as she gives me a smile then closes her eyes. "Sorry for ignoring you..it was stupid."
"No, it wasn't. I'm sorry for kissing Gwen back..I knew it wasn't right and I shouldn't have.." she opens her eyes back and gives me another smile, still crying slightly. I put my hand on her cheek and wiped away her tears with my thumbs. I look her dead in her eyes.
"I love you too y/n." I say getting closer to her. Y'know..someone I know once told me.." at this point our faces were inches away from eachother. I pulled up my mask and stopped at my nose since my both my parents were in the hospital still. "Fuck this cliche shit." I said as I passionately kissed her. After awhile we ran out of air and pulled back. "Y/n L/n. Please, be mine?" She let out a slight chuckle
"Of course Morales." She smiles and I peck her lips again.
"Oh, and y/n,"
"Yea?"
"Dont ever scare me like that again." I said with the most serious face I've ever had before. I felt her quiver. Then let out a nervous laugh.
"You got it dude." She said sticking out her tongue and thumb.

Woop woop. I dont know if I should end the story here?? Lmk if. But I hope you all have enjoyed reading this story, I enjoyed making it even though I sucked at updating it.
