Han checks her notes on her phone once again before entering the exhibition. She has decided to come a little bit late today, and also, to position herself better to interact with her so-called soulmate. Yes, instead of standing in front and middle of the sculpture, she places herself behind the boys, who are a bit on the left, quite close.
Let them approach you instead of approaching them. She re-reads the sentence once again and switch the application to her camera, pretending as if she intends to take photos while waiting for the boys to do some action.
Meanwhile, Hyunjin and Seungmin check on the pictures that Hyunjin posed for, while a lot of other people are still, giving them glances as usual. It's still pretty funny honestly, despite the number of times that Han has experienced the event.
"I feel like we need to go." She hears Seungmin talk in a soft tone to his taller friend, who probably is still, dissatisfied by the pictures taken. "But—"
"We can't keep people waiting." The photographer firmly states, causing Hyunjin's shoulder slump in disappointment. Ugh, why can't Seungmin be my soulmate instead? Han grimaces in her mind, seeing how considerate the boy is.
While being too busy admiring Seungmin, Hyunjin turns around to face her, which she wasn't prepared for. Han nearly falls due to the sudden action, since she didn't expect him to do so anytime soon.
Shit. She stumbles, but her arm is then grabbed by the tall boy in reflex. She wasn't about to fall because of how close Hyunjin is—she somehow just got distracted slightly by Seungmin.
Which is definitely not part of the plan.
"A-Are you okay...?" Hyunjin asks, surprising the girl so much. What happened to him? Did someone actually take his inconsiderate soul and replace it with an angelic one?
"I'm...fine..." Han stands up properly while examining Hyunjin. Though she has seen him multiple times, she can't help but notice some small details on his facial features; and it reminds her how good-looking he is.
Well, she did admit his superior visuals on the first day she met him. But his attitude just had to ruin everything.
"So sorry about that." Seungmin chuckles, patting Hyunjin's shoulders, "My friend's a bit careless and inconsiderate sometimes."
"What?" He eyes at the shorter boy, "I simply turned around and she stumbled on her own. She was standing too close."
For once, Han thought he has changed. But nope, she must've hoped too much.
And the fact that he's my soulmate... She massages her forehead, already feeling stressed even though nothing much has happened so far.
"What kind of guy are you to blame everything on a girl..." Seungmin shakes his head in amusement, "If only your stalkers aren't that blind."
"Excuse me?" Hyunjin jokingly shoots his friend a death stare, and soon, turns his attention back to the girl, who coughs in between.
"Sorry...Can you let go of my arms please?" Han asks.
Hyunjin hurriedly lets go of it and blinks a few times, raising his hands in panic while his expression hardens, "It's not like that okay? Don't get the wrong idea."
She tilts her head to the side, showing an innocent look. Well, she's never that interested in him anyway, but then again, it's Hyunjin. The boy who thinks most of the girls he meets would instantly like/fall for him.
"Don't worry, I know." Han gives him a smile of assurance—not knowing that it lowkey catches him off guard. "Well, thank you for helping though. I appreciate it."
