todays the day... I'm going out with Rose.
I link arms with the beautiful Rose and lead her out of the hub. I stop just before we leave, everyone's looking at us, so I'm gonna take the chance. I gently hold Rose by the sholders softly and push the hair out of he face slowly. I take half a step closer to her, pressing out bodies together. I wait a few seconds and just stare at her before leaning in and kising her lips tenderly, holding us there in that one perfect moment. Will there ever be another moment like this? Just this once, everyone's happy... Including me. I pull back slowly and listen as everyone starts to clap. I place my arm around Rose's sholders and lead her out of Torchwood.
We walk most of the way, then decide to catch a taxi. We stop off at a resturant called the clink. I still don't know what I'm going to expect. I slide my hand from Rose's sholders to her hand. I kiss her forhead before walkinng into the clink with her. "Do you have a booking?" The receptionist asks in a bored voice. "Smith." I state. The receptionist looks at me and points her head over to a room. I nod my head and thank her before walking Rose to the resturant.
We take a seat at table 23. Rose is looking at her menu, but seems off. "Hey Rose" I place my hand lightly on hers, "You okay?" I ask in a soft voice, her gaze moves from the menu to mine. She puts down her menu and looks at me dead in the eyes. "John, what was that woman doing to me, she had a small device which brought memories back to the surface, then destroyed them, right infront of me." She's getting frustrated, I have to try and change the subject, but this seems like the natural thing to talk about. "Rose, I promise you, you will remember everything, give it till atleast Christmas. Please Rose." I lift her chin up to meet my gaze. I kiss her lips again softly before pulling back slowly. I hand Rose her menu again and try to decide what I want to eat.
The waiter comes along, "Sir, ma'am, may I take your order?" He has a thick Welsh accent which might finally give me a chance to try my Welsh accent. "I'll have the cesar salad please." Rose states before handing the waiter the menu. "And for you sir?" "The, umm, h-no, how about the- no. Just the steak and chips thanks." I tried doing the welsh accent, but end up making a complete fool out of my self. Rose laughs a bit before smiling at me. I don't know what to say, she's so beautiful and placid that I just can't talk-
"John?" "Yes." I say back, quickly snapping out of a day dream. She smiles a bit before getting serious again. "John, I know you." I try giving her a confused look. "Rose, I'm your doctor, I look after you. I don't think we've ever met anywhere else but your room." I choke back on the last few words I just said. Rose just goes red and starts laughing, a lot. "I-I-I didn't mean it like that, R-Rose it's true, the only place I know you from is your room at the hub." I feel my face getting redder as Rose starts laughing harder. *sighs* I start laughing too.
These meals are delicious! Wow, I never knew what humans like to eat but this is great! I've finished my meal and now feel like my insides are bursting, in a good way.
I look over to the left and see a group of people come in wearing suits and UNIT caps... my first thought is getting Rose out of here, my safety comes next "Uh, Rose I think we should go now."
I stand up to grab Rose's arm, only to be pushed back roughly into my seat. What happened next was a bit of a blur, all I remember is feeling a hand grab my sholder and a cold solid object hit the side of my neck and send an electric current through my whole body. "John!" I hear Rose scream out before my head starts spinning and my world goes black... again...
Hey guys, sorry for a shorter chapter and a long wait for it. I did try to make it happy, but left you's on a cliff-hanger! haha! >:) I'm just that evil now...
